I'm in a guild, but when I'm not there I'm usually in coronet. If these entertainers who claim they want to socialize would come back we'd have more people to talk to and less reason to go afk, but sadly they'd rather whine here and do nothing to improve the atmosphere themselves.
All it takes is using the ignore feature to ignore bots and normal chatting like always, there's really no problem. I'm chatting with my group right now...
Your experience is both lucky and unusual. I think that's great for you.
LOL! You charge your own guildmates and you wonder why they didn't like you? I don't charge anyone and my friendlist is over-flowing with girls and guys. I also get tips(not the amount girls get, but enough to keep me satisfied) and sometimes free items. Maybe if you didn't act like you're the lord of the cantina and realize that there are other people inside you'd socialize and make friends who would love to tip you. Setting a price for someone to watch you dance is definately going to make them find someone who's offering the same service for free...duh.

Oh geez. Anything to try to prove a point. We got a couple of buffbot or supporters (not sure which) who claim anything under the sun just to prove a point. It's because I'm a guy...it's because I don't wear bright clothes, it's because I'm not in a guild.
Well, I can tell you, when I was in a guild, they all expected to get everything for free...
But, alas, I see it's pointless to argue with the two of you. The fact of the matter is that we're going to have to agree to disagree here. We have two people who say anybody can make money buffing if only they try hard enough, have a sex change, and wear the right clothes. And, then we got 50 people saying that it's impossible to compete with buffbots.
Yeah...ok...right...

Did you even read my post? At no time did I say I charged my guildmates. I did not. And, the vast majority of the time I didn't get 1 credit as a tip. I was responding to someone who said that if I joined a guild I'd make money. I was clearly refuting that that is not the case. If an entertainer joins a guild, they can expect to make no money at all and spend all their time buffing people.
Try to read a little more carefully, because when you don't your insults only make you look like the ass.

Silly me?
Yes. Silly you. I said, "when I was in a guild everyone expected everything to be free." No more, no less. They expected my buffs to be free. And, they were. Where here did I say I charged, or even attempted to charge my guildmates? Nowhere. And, that's the truth, I didn't charge them, nor did I try to charge them. Ask any of them, never once did. But, there are expectations in a guild, such as free or resource cost services. That's the expectation. That's what I was stating. Try not to read into things that aren't there.

If you had no problem with it why mention it? Of course they expect everything to be free, that's what guilds are for. You make friends, you help each other. If you became a dancer for the great economy and huge paycheck then you were sadly mistaken. I've been a dancer since I started(among other things) and I was always poor back then, people tip me more now but still not nearly what they could. You're in the wrong profession to begin with, it's not a money maker. ID makes more money, I get 20k per migration.
The you're not reading posts are very silly, anything you write can be percieved one way or another, make it clear who you're talking to and what about. Any confusion involved lies with you, the writer. Unless you think there's only one way to percieve anything written. I guess that's why there are classes soley based on what authors may be trying to say, because everything has one meaning...or you just need to learn how to express yourself more clearly?
