Thread: ** The CH Necklace is a Loot **
You have the option to buy the necklace, but you are complaining that it will cost to much. My commando flamer was a drop off of one of the mobs in the last quest of the chain, and it doesn't drop everytime. Do you hear my complaining that it took my 6 trips to get it? No, because it still obtainable if I wish to go after it. And that guy is about25 times harder then Doombringer is. It's content, go do it...or grind cash and be the person to do the buyout on the forums. Seriously, stop complaining and be happy they even bothered putting something like that ingame for us. Eventually you'll have it, but it sounds like you expect it now rather then later.

That could be, Womp...not outruling that at all...but imagine how long the combo of glowies will take to find, and then imagine what they will cost on the market...why should we be treated like this when every other profession gets their stuff easily (with the exception of one or two Jedi things)?
Come on now, we have seen the nerf bat just as many times if not more than Jedi have. We have been around longer, and have probably had our hearts broken more. I thought the point of the CH content on Mustafar was supposed to make us happy again. I will admit, my Lava Flea Guard pet with chevrons is cool, and I have a blast taming/running/taming/running rinse repeat.
Why though should we camp something to get a necklace when not only is it so easy to get other profession's stuff, but you can also go out and grab a CL70 beetle, slap some abilities on it, and have the "uber" tank? So we can pull out our old pre-cupets? Maybe tame stuff that was once tamable but then nerfed (Kliknik Queen anyone)?
Still doesn't make sense.

I guess you are set in your ways Dek...For one, you are saying that this chintsy necklace should be held amoung the very very very very few super rare drops on Mustafar...So far everything else has been way too easy to get...perhaps you just don't get that...furthermore, it's obvious you have a great guild that cares about you and will give up their Jedi crap to cater to your every whim. Big whoop. I have been guildless for over a year...why? Guildies are all too concerned about Jedi crap which means nothing to me. People don't care about CH anymore...CH is a dying breed, proof positive by the lack of our numbers even on the largest server. This fiasco just doesn't help. So whatever...I gave up on the necklace when I heard it was from the Cube, so it's not much different now. Whatever.
I do...to me it makes my profession more special. Unlike some of the templates who got their stuff handed to them, I worked hard for mine and I will feel like I accomplished something ingame. Having something given to me easily, IN MY OPINION, is boring and offers me no challenge. Having to work hard for something and earn it is to me why I play video games. I want fun, excitement, AND a challenge...It is entertainment.
I'm sorry to hear about your guild, but my guild is probably the largest Imperial Guild on the server and we are all friends. We've been running these missions when we can to help out others needing them. If something drops it will go to the person who has that template on their main. To add to that is my guild does not cater to my whim, we cater to EVERYONE who needs the quest...and we will help out until we have everyone to the last couple missions. Guilds are a family, a team...you help out EVERYONE in it. It seems your definition of Guild is far different then mine, and I feel sorry for you about that. As for CH,it's actually been booming on our server. Just hearing you gave up on the necklace because it was a cube combo makes me think you don't want it that much. If you want it that much then you will go get it...not post on the forums complaining about the way it is implemented ingame.

Forget the fact that there are like 6 commando weapons that you can get there, a crapload of pistols, carbines, rifles and what have you, but onlyone CH item (not gonna count tamables, as they aren't loot). Almost all of that loot is very easy to get. You know what? I honestly I don't care if I get it now. The entire point of this thread was to find proof that it's even in game as it is, and the guy couldn't even do that much...so forgive me if I don't hold on to blind faith that doing some hard quest may or may not give the necklace, then go do it over and over all day every day for a year just to find out...hey it wasn't even implemented yet. I just want to know for sure if it's even in the game so we don't play ring around the rumor like everyone did with Jedi.
Dude, **edit**...it's challenging enough to tame high level creatures, let alone find ones with abilites. I don't think repeat camping a mob is a challenge, more like a lottery. You want challenge? Tame some CL70's without BE clothes on a heavy aggro planet...there is a challenge. But seriously, I don't want to argue with you. That wasn't the point anyways. No need to be combative on either side IMO, we should all be trying to figure this the hell out. The original point was to weed out the trash from the real info, and as it stands we haven't yet done that. When I see proof of it in game, who it drops from or whatever, I may be tempted to go out and get it, whatever it takes. I may camp it like Sanskii if I actually knew who dropped it...thing is no one deos...not the OP, not us, probably not even the devs. They are all probably laughing at us right now. I could just see it now, bunch of devs sitting around..."HAHA LMAO they think it's the Cube!"
And yeah, btw the Cube intices me so very little that it's just furniture in my house...still no proof the necklace comes from there either, so I'd rather do other stuff than to try and decipher some joke of a "puzzle".
It's good to hear you have a nice guild. Perhaps one day I'll find one that isn't obsessed with the Jedi grind and overcamping quest mobs for loot...until then, all I got is my pets. Atleast I can see those, no second guessing.

Challening taming pets? All tamable pets to me right now are grey, which wish mask scent non of the mobs around them will aggro. I do tame level 70s without BE cloths and if I fail and they decide to attack I just run away. It's not much of a challenge. The only challenge I've had so far in taming pets was probably dathomir and yavin. Even then it wasn't much of a challenge. If I get the necklace then maybe i'll enjoy trying to tame some babies.

People like you really piss me off. Just because you can spend all the time in the world playing a video game, just because you know what combos to use and what drinks/foods/spices to use, just because you can solo most of the game, you expect everyone else to be able to do everything as well.
I don't play as much as I used to, and I'm sure alot of other players don't play as much as they want to. Some of us have real lives with real situations. Why should we have to spend our gaming time looking for a group who will let us tag along or spend our time trying to make credits to buy something that some loot whores and spawn campers get?
I bet you're one of those loot whores/spawn campers. Because all you've done in this thread is throw every stupid reponse in that's in alot of the bounty hunter/jedi discussions. "Get in a group" "Get some friends" "Take your guild" "Stop whining". Groups are hard to get in for creature handlers because noone wants our pets taking up group slots. And due to my work schedule, I'm usually on opposite of my entire guild. So that's not an option for me either. So I'm going to have to wait until some uber leet player gets it and decides to auction it off for 20 million credits and pray that I have enough to afford it.
You don't seem to realize the "theme" of the thread. We don't want the necklace to be an easy option for us. We'd rather it be a MCH quest and something that we can get for ourselves. Or maybe have to drag a friend or two along. Not an instanced dungeon that's hard as hell where we have a chance of getting one.
So go back to your bounty hunter forums and troll with your friends there about "pwning" some noob jedi in 1 shot since you have a squad leader buddy. You sure aren't welcome here.

I piss you off? So what you are saying is that anyone, ranging from some noob who bought the game yesterday and some vet whose been playing pre-launch (beta) should be able to get this rare lootand his combat/gaming skillsand/or knowledge of the game and how to play itshouldn't matter? You really are kidding me right? It's people like you that piss me off because it makes things to easy for those who do know their profession and how to play it.
You don't play as much as you use to...you do know that this mission takes about one hr, if even that to run. If you don't have an hour to run then instance then do you really believe you actually deserve the loot in the first place? I know people have other responsiblities and things to do outside of the game, but if everything could be acheived by those who play 10 mins a day (Jedi anyone?) then loot becomes worthless because those who do play like 15 hrs a day will have all the loot times twenty. If you can't go out yourself and get it, buy it on the trade forums when it becomes available.
No, I'm not one of those loot whores/spawn campers. I don't see how telling someone to get a group or some friends is a bad thing. Mustafar quest content IS difficult and requires a TRUSTED (The reason I said friends) group to go through the quest. If you got trusted friends along the ride you will have a better chance at getting the necklace if it does drop. I'm in an awesome guild, where we all look out and work for each other while having fun. It does suck not everyone has that sort of thing, but if you don't then I suggest maybe checking out other guilds that you'd be happier in. Also, your Pet does not need to take up a slot in the group, he works just as well outside of the group and will probably be getting more xp if he is lvl 69 and your group is killing level 80+s.
As for the theme of the thread, I do think I did realize it. Alot of it seemed like a bunch of whining because it is a rare drop off a hard boss in which you need a nice solid group to take down. The other half was people flaming the poster because he/she/it didn't post a screenshot and they decided to say he was full of it.
As for the Bounty Hunter trash talk...all I can do is laugh. I have never used a squad leader to take out a Jedi, never had the need to. Bounty Hunter is a 1v1 scenario that I like to keep that way. And just for your information, I actually let the Jedi know I'm there for them so they can prepare to die. My responses are not about being uber, it's about keeping Creature Handler rare and something challenging for myself. I've been other professions and have recieved the easy loot given to you without a fight and I didn't like it. There is no fun in getting freebies, but that is just my opinion.
I could flame you now and tell you to continue trolling threads to learn how to play your profession and learn what combos to use (since it's all on these forums, I even made a public post on the foods that I take), but I'm just going to leave you with a big old "CMN".

That said a CH has almost no chance of looting this item!

It's very cool that only Jedi's will be able to loot this item and then sell it for xxx millions to a CH! This is a very cool plan SOE! Why should a CH be able to get it by himself by doing a CH related quest??? This is much to logical! Let's make it a loot for Jedis!!
