For the moment, lets assume that Vert is not bringing everything to their attention. It could be that they are asking for 1 or 2 TOP issues only. Would you rather have your pets stop auto-storing in combat or have a 1% better chance of finding a Bull Rancor baby? It's up to the correspondent to go through the forum and get an idea of what the majority of people have as a concern.
Anyhow, In my opinion, Vert is doing as best as can be expected with what SOE allows. I'd rather have him/her in the role than someone who has already quit the game once. (I myself fall into that category)

No. Vert made the decision to not bring up the issue of tameable rarity of her own doing. That's the issue right now. You cannot make decisions based on your personal preferences. You must bring to attention all issues, not just the ones you want...

Again, look at #2 on the list, which deals with the spawn rates of ALL creatures:

It is only an issue with a few loud posters. That doesn't make it an imporant issue. More people want the rares to stay rare than want them to be made common. Vert is representing a majority of the CHs and doing a fine job at it.

For one thing, not everyone has responded to that poll. Plus, we are more than a few "loud" posters. Why don't you explain to me why you think they should stay rare. How about an arguement other than repeating the same, "keep them rare, you're whiners," mantra over and over...

Maybe just maybe not everyone has been on since the poll has been up. But that was a little difficult to think of huh?
Not much of an arguement from you.
Tell me. What exactly is enough effort? 8 months is asking for it on a silver platter? That's something a dev would say.
And being able to buy better is just another reason to make them unrare. Because there is no reason stat related for them to be rare. How would making them a little more common (like 1 in 100 lairs) take away from the game? That's another dev like statement. Anyone who has spent over a month and killed over 100 lairs should have gotten what they were looking for. But as I have said already. What of those that don't have a combat profession to suppliment CH. They are kinda screwed as far as rares go huh. But you probably don't care about that either.
You're just spouting off. This isn't about god mode, where are you even coming up with this crap?...

vertexon should stay on, hes worked hard to get our points across. At the end of the day i think you are over-estimating how much influence the correspondents currentlyhave, lets hope that changes with this meeting they have planned.

Actually i don't think this vote is a good idea.
I want to see results as anyone else wants, i'm sick of hearing that this is being considered that that might work... blablabla.
And ultimately the devs are still responsible for those results. And how does anyone know how often Vert sends his damn request list to the devs and gets ignored or whatever? Seriously a lazy correspondent acts differently to Vert.

As far as I'm concerned, Vert has been doing a perfectly fine job given the limited resources s/he has at his/her disposal. As far, as having Pluto as correspondent (which he implies that he'd like to be) -- well, sorry to be blunt, but no way I'm voting for someone who petitions for the job and then **two** days later decides he's going to quit. That's not the sort of stable, reliable gameplay that we need from correspondant. Nothing wrong with passion but we also need reliability.

Ok, now I'm going to turn around and defend the other side here. Pluto never said he wanted the job. He even stated that he wouldn't want the job. He said that he wanted someone else, and posted his reasons why. I happened to be one of the ones who disagreed with him.But healso said that it shouldn't be him.
Oh and Vert is a guy.

I know its not really my place as I'm still rather *green* but I have to say I think vert is doing a fine a job.
the CH guide compiled by him and others helped me a lot when it came time for me to find out about CH and how to do things.
yes he has had a hectic week or 2 in RL but everybody does. I know I do, and the last thing I would want to do after a heavy week is come to these boards and see a list of complaints a mile long, which nothing can be done about.
Vert is simply the one voice in a thousand that can speak to the devs on our behalf.
DoI think its wrong that we have been balanced before anyone else? yes I do
Would I like to see extreme rares become less rare, or the reward for finding them become greater? yes I would.
by fragmenting the community like this all its doing is causing chaos.nobody will listen to chaos. we need to pull together as a communityand show the devs that we are not a "vocal minority" we are the people thatenjoy playing the game but post here during work(well I do anyway) we need to stand behind our appointed rep, see what happens at this summit thing they are having, I'll bet you Vert has to pay for that out of his own pocket.

but you must take note the real problem is this profession needs a new Dev. the current one is as bad as they come. We need a dev that actually wants to see C.h. at the top with other elites not bottom of the barrel in pvp and a laughing joke of the GCW. If you want pve ch is ok but pvp ch is a joke.
