The *total* CL of your active pets must be less than or equal to your CL ability. If you can control lvl 25, then you can only have 1 level 25 out. If you can control level 50 then you could have 2 CL 25 pets out or 1 level 50.
This is so CH isn't over powered or so they say. pfft.

I have two characters and I was wondering if I could transfer one to my main, who is a non-CH, so he can have it out to grow faster so I can have two monsters out at once to grow. The monsters level is CH10 so...
Can I do this?

It's my opinion that creatures don't grow faster just because they are out. But that's my opinion
This sounds like it will work, so I don't see any problem for it not to. My pets usually grow up fully in 5 days(1 once every 12 hours). If your pets grow up faster, then you can prove me wrong

Yes..you can transfer it to your main and they can have it out if it is a CL 10 or less (if they are not a CH)

Yes, you can probably do that, but no, it won't make them grow faster. The only thing proven to make pets grow faster is logging in at least once a day while they are growing. Some believe that calling, playing, feeding, or even fighting with a pet makes it grow faster, but testing is inconclusive. I usually at least call my growing pets out once a day. Not sure if it helps, but it sure can't hurt. A little RP never hurt anyone.

All I know is that I tried testing the growing theory, which was catching a big chuba and NEVER taking it out of my datapad, which this was the first creature I tamed and took him out for maybe two minutes, then I tamed a rawl baby and kept him out constantly. He's level 4 already where the chuba is only level 2.
I also have a bio-eng bantha who is level 3, but that's irrelevant.
Any thoughts?

the baby rawl is more than likely gonna have a higher CL when grown. Having said that, some pets grow faster than others, and it doesn't seem to matter whether you have them out at all, just as long as you log in at least once a day.

Transfer:
As a nonCh you may hold two pets.
These pets must be non aggresive but could be any level. (I've had many people hold pets for me) When you transfer the person recieving can not have a pet or droid out they must all be stored. On a side note droids do not count for your maximum pet storage so you could have two pets and four droids in your datapad but can only have one pet at at once droid or creature.
Growing:
They grow if you are active with them or not but you need to log in once a real day. They usually grow in 12 hour spurts. They will grow if you have them out at the time they are due to level. They don't need to be patted, fed, or played with and will grow in your datapad.
Think thats the jist of it.

Ok, I'm a level 42 CH. I have been for quite some time. My pets went from 9 and 10k Ham to 3k-5k. Is this still useful for anything now? Advice please....
Also, why doen't the pets hold aggo anymore. That all I used the darn things for.
Will pet stims ever work?
Why God did the do this to CH?
it has no use that I see now except to chase people around in PvP

erm with only level 42 you won't even be able to chase people around with pets, they'll be far too low level to do anything
. I guess all we can do is wait, apparently there working on a fix for the hate thingy, that'll definently improve PvE a good deal.
