Here's my 2 cents or just 1 cent due to taxes
There are very many ch's that are dropping ch because they feel that they have been reduced baby collectors and former owners of awesome and formittable pets, and to come here and say that you found something that may make them feel better about what has been done to them falls somewhere between being inconciderate to being outright mean. Its like this one uncle I had that would show me or one of my siblings something I or we would like or want and then say we couldnt have or even touch it while taunting us with it.
However I do understand your reluctance to not to say what it is on the forum for fear that the mighty NERFERS will pounce on it But I also know that no matter when the information is released that it will get back to the devs eventially and if they dont want it to be in place they will nerf it faster than a artisan getting killed by a durni.
Also if once the information is given and some people have already respec's to another profession and they wished they would have kept CH there most likely gonna be rather ticked off. And on the other hand they stay ch and the information dosnt live up to what they were wanting or it gets nerfed there faced with either being disharted about ch again and now there faced with a very long grind to another profession.
So in closing all im gonna say is If someone had information that would make you feel better about being in a profession that you have worked very hard to get to would you want to know? or would you rather take a roll of the dice and hope it dosnt come up snake eyes.

I take the possibility of the FOTMproblem very seriously. You're absolutely right. People will flock to CH like stink on pudu if they caught wind of it. Definitely keep it under wraps. I can't believe how some of our fellow CH's are acting, berating you for keeping it a secret. It makes perfect sense.
A suggestion... even after the respec is dropped, I think you should be selective who you tell about this, otherwise you'll have people bragging about it on the boards and to their friends. If it's truly what you say it is it needs to stay hush hush in my opinion.
why did I like the CH prof?
it was fun. no comment on now.
My max lvl was 70. i had a few BE pets which would equal lvl 70 and did a heck of a nice job for me. We can thank the lvl system for ruining that now.
why bother bringing out multiple pets now?
specials. they were really nice before. Do they even exist now?
number of creatures out there. they actually got something right. A lot of things to tame. But, only things of high lvl are worth it.
Give me a reason to stay a CH.
hmm i have difficulty with this thread...the progression anyway.....he found some info, HE THINKS is worth while....btu he is cautious to release it...good for him....MOST everyone complians because they don't know it...and he does...he did the work....quit bashing, why not MAKE a character on sunrunner? go hunt with him, maybe he will feel safer SHOWING instead of posting it.....as far as XP is slower now? are you kidding me? CH xp keeps maxing out on me...QUICKLY....TOO quickly....i make 3-4 trips to the village a day now...because i am maxed....my pets not being able to tank? what?....they regen so fast....god...it's great...yes i get attacked fighting from range....so what...a few root type shots...alittle movement and i'm good...has the CU got bugs? u bet your bottom it does....would i go back? ..nope...i see how the tide is turning...EVERYTHING is a challenge now...i like that...and when and if my pets and i get incapped.....(i normally fight 60-100 level mob's) we'll we BOTH heal up fast and off we go again....learnign the new tactics to use...it's quite fun, if he knows something, and has said he will tell us soon, that will help......hey i am ALL for it....i can wait...it doesn't take away from my enjoyment....not one bit...
Goodness people, we are CH's because WE understand about having fun...not being uber...and being patient....in one hand you complain, EVERYONE can get a GPS too fast..too easy..it should be harder....it's more fun to WORK for one....ok here he is a (GPS type info as far as he is concerned) and we have to be patient....we ALL should excel at that.....goodness....i will wait...and gladly...whether it is worth a darn or not....you guys in the know...STAY in the know...your caution is quite merrited.....

Lots of misinformation on this board. Pets tank well and you get plenty of xp CH. More than you ever, ever got got before the CU.... I wish people would stop posting misinformation, making people not even give the CU a chance. Just becuase you don't know what you're doing yet, don't post. ASK.
As far as the original topic, yah, CH are super great now. Though I don't know any one thing that would make everyone respec to CH....

I for one DO know what one thing would make people run to CH in droves.
The ability to be in aGroup (For the "level" bonuses), yet still be essentially playing Solo.
That's the reason I came back to CH after all the changes. I was CH a long time ago. Left because it was no longer viable.
The CU has changed that.. Despite all I read about Pets not being unique anymore, not being able to Tank, etc.. Have all of the Long Time CHs out there REALLY lost the respect and love for this profession?
Pets can and DO tank - Just change the way you USED to play CH. Give them a moment to attack the MOB without your help, and THEN engage.. they hold Aggro quite well. Different combinations of Pets DO make a huge difference.
Certainly, the Special Attacks are gone and SHOULD be missed.. But I am using my pets (I never let mine go.. Knowing that I would one day return to CH) and getting XP for CH, TK, and Scout hand over fist.
It's a solo player's paradise now. I highly suggest to everyone that you step back, and try new things with your pets. CH really IS a viable profession now.
Perhaps this "news" will make it even moreso, or perhaps it's just a pipe dream.. i for one am glad to be a CH again, no matter WHAT this "Wonderful" thing is.

These guys are excited about something they found...AWESOME I AM EXCITED TOO..and I dont even know what it is

I like the profession to much to risk losing it or being stuck with a useless profession so from one MCH to another MCH Do you swear that to the best of your knowledge and opinion that you feel thatother ch's will once againfeel that profession again isnt as nerfed or not worth playing anymore? If so i'll take your word for it and remain a MCH/Rifleman.

not really but this thread has been comical to watch tonight and i completely understand the reasoning behind keeping quiet about discoveries right now.....i've personally discovered some interesting things with deeded BE pets from before the patch and i'm staying CH and am not really worried about pvp or pve, in fact im pretty sure most people will be really surprised when CH'ers start holding their own in all battles soon
.....and i of course dont want to fight with 2000 other new CH's for pets and pvp wins if all the secrets get let out in the next coupl days while there is still time for the FOTM tide to swing this direction...let BH have the 5000000000000000 new BH'ers from the respec...its the bestprofession to play 
CH really is total crap and i cant wait to respec tomorrow in fact everything in this thread is just a sick joke cause all of use playing CH cant stay alive long enough to play th egame so we have come here to be miserable.....CH=worst profession ever.....trust me..........im not lying.....respec to BH right now!!.......
