any there any drawbacks to wookies as far as being a jedi?

Low mind ans secondary mind stats.

Health and action would be pretty strong. secondaries there wouldn't matter to a jedi. But mind is king in PvP, and jedi are PvP.

I want to say they can wear only 3 pieces of clothing. The hood, wrap, and gloves. Been a while since I've been log'd in as my wookie though.

Generally 4 items, Hood, shoulder/chest, waist wrap, and gloves...

If they are not wearing a pack they can have a bandolier to bump it to 5 for socket purposes.

Belts?

D'oh!

I honestly, in all the Wookiees I have dressed, never even thought to offer a belt to a Wookiee.

Tailor Realm has learned something today... He thanks you very much.

Absolutly hilarious.

and to the original poster, it is Wookiee, not Wookie. Some Wookiees out there will rip your arm out of its socket if you forget that second "e".

Along with the hood, shoulder pad, waist wrap, belt, bando and gloves a crafting apron can be worn

Not sure gloves can be worn with an apron anymore. I was getting complaints about that a while back.

I had an order for a wookiee crafting outfit a couple days back, so to test everything I made my boyfriend (he is a wookiee in game) try on my crafting apron ... he could wear it with gloves.
