Thread: Having Problems With Your Pets? Post here
Single pets.
Whether a Bull Rancor or a BE Gurreck
Run all over the countryside, in order toevade the things they are set to attack.
You dont notice it as much if you use a pair of pets, but this is no excuse for the problem.
Many CH wont be able to call 2 pets anyway till there way up the CH tree.
It was only slightly anoying before the last patch.
Since then the pets are useless in any sort of PVE.
pets stand on top of me and each other
large pets run away from battles
does knockdown special work?

quit nerfing everything just delete the friggin profession if you hate it so much...
Cowardly lions...very funny... And I am sick of being sat on by my pet... It is sexual harrassment
New to the profession so this may not be a bug but some hidden rule.
I have 2 cupas trained by a MCH and was trying to have them sit back and use their ranged attack while I meleed.
Is there some hidden rule that you cant use a command that is above your level even if the pet knows it ? If so why does everything else work (ie. transfer, etc.) The ranged attack is a command and not a CH ability like embolden pet and enrage pet .
Also, I'm having a hard time getting /tellpet to work unlessI use it when I train them. Is this working as intended ?

This appears to be another bug that SOE added to the game for us. Pets don't seem to be using any ranged attacks right now.

/tellpet is yet another of the buggy features they gave to CH. It works fine for some people, not at all for others, and is intermittent for the rest.
getting tired of my pets sitting on my head.. auto storeing .. and now the mounts wont even follow me.. whats up with this I thought alot of this was fixed.

Hi guys...pl bare with me, this is my first CH post because in usually post in the Suggler forum. Here ismy problem.I bought a Gurreck , i have it in my inventory but it tells me i cannot tame it, that i lack the skills need to tame i am 4/2/1/3 CHskill boxes. I have maser the taming tree. and yet cannot tame this pet. When i examine it, there no level on this pet. what should i do now to find out how to use this gurreck...any informatiom on this would be very helpful thank you.
Is this a wild tamed gurreck (just gurreck...not one of the varients)? If so, it's a CL 50 critter, and 4/2/1/3 won't have enough call ability to bring it off the datapad. If it's a BE critter, it's bugged, I'm afraid, since you can't see the CL in the datapad, and it may very well be above CL 50 and you won't be able to call it until you're a master.

Pet will not respond to Follow, the HAM display is not updating properly when the pet is healed until, a: trick is commanded, or b: combat, which means if the pet is incapped, healing does not get it on it's feet again because the HAM didn't update. Pet is spontaneously storing, sometimes during combat. Because it won't follow, it cannot be retreated in combat. If pet is incapped in combat, no xp for creature handler are gained, even if pet did most of the damage.
The pet reponds to follow about once in twenty times.
The patch correcting follow distance seems to have broken my pets very badly. The fix seriously needs to be fixed, and fast. It is so inconveinient as to render the pets almost useless.
I'm experiencing all these things, less the XP part, because I'm not earning XP (totally maxed out).
I have no reason to doubt that aspect of Kagura's report whatsoever, though.
