Thread: new to ch
Then it's a choice, going for more storage and commands (training line) to max possible xp from the training or going for 2 pets out at the same time (managment 3) so you don't have to store your pet every time you wanna tame something. I went for 2 pets out first then training.
But as been stated, have fun doing it. Don't turn it into a grind, it will burn you out.
ok,
tips:
buy some stims.
buy a few full grown pets.
buy some cheap food.
high damage creatures can tank, high ham creatures can't.
tricks:
when giving your pet a command use /tellpet "command"
after the CU, always use the follow command after combat.
use your creature specials, such as berserk.
you can tell your pet to attack after you attack if your target comes after you and it should stop coming after you.
try to find a lvl 60 pet at master, and a lvl 10 mount. if your lvl 60 dies send in your lvl 10 while you run away.
make maco's for your /tellpet commands
BE'ed creatures:
visit your local BE. he can hopefully fix you up with a BE'ed creature.

Do I tame them then take them to a BE?
No you buy the pet
After you get your pet it would be in you inventory. tame it
Then it is placed in your datapad

/tellpet stay
I use the guy sitting in chair icon and call it named macro stay (K.I.S.S.).
I can now click open the radail for teach click it and hit the hotkey for each command I want to train, I suck at typing so it saves me time and I'm not spamming when I train a pet.
i use macros for my attacks and have them set to my numpad. that way i can get my pets attacking quick, without having to switch chat channels, without the annoying "a" over and over, and without having to type anything. the only problem is i may have more than 9 commands, and i'll have to find new buttons, but that wont be a big deal ![]()
i know this isnt really what you were asking, but its convenient and close to the general idea of the thread
If your pet doesn't understand your command, you don't have to redo the radial menu, just repeat the command until he gets it.
Thanks for the ideas guys, just another quick question,
What is the fastest way of grinding CH? is it by teaching pets or combat? When I take a pet into combat I only get a very low amount of xp for CH but a huge amount for combat.
