Under your Skill MOdifiers in the Skill Popup (control + s) it will tell you your Max level of Pets.. That tells you what is your absolute max level you can control

You should go to www.swgcreatures.com. It will have all your creature level needs.

this doesn't help me understad what level I can train and control. Once I know that I will know what creatures to go after, that is why I ask if anyone could give me an idea of the levels.

hi all i wondered if i may ask a few questions as i am a new and flashy 0001 CH with no clue what the class holds in store for me
first off is the issue of BE pets, are they in place since wild creatures are lacking? and should i use them
secondly what is the best way to lvl this cool profession
thirdly the brackasets look cool but can i mount a surefoot brackaset? i know they dont have babies but can they be made via BE?
and lstly what are the best pets to use...i would like to use pets that are more fun rather than something ridiculously powerful
any help is greatly appreciated
thx

BE pets - They will be superior to wild versions in every way. I personally use wild pets only at this point, however I have been a master since the first month and things have changed quite drastically in that time. You might consider getting a few BE pets and a few wild ones and see which works best for your needs.
Leveling - Things have changed too much. I cannot offer good advice here.
Brackasets - BEs can make these at almost any creature level. It will not be a 'surefoot', but it will be a brackaset.
Fun vs. Power - Unless you are buying a BE abomination (CL 60 power in a CL 10 body), any pet should work. You might find using wild pets are no fun at all due to a lack of power, or you might find it a more personal and rewarding challenge. I can only suggest you tame a wide variety of stuff and see how you like it. If you feel underpowered, get a few BE pets and see if things improve.

Most people will recommend that you get the Taming vicious line first, because it allows you to get aggressive creatures. However, if you are a collector you might want to get the training line which allows you to have more pets. It depends on how you like to play, and the best I can tell you is to just go out and enjoy yourself. Oh and I think female kaadus are level 12 and make decent novice pets, but others will have better pet advice.

Personally I prefer Gurrcats(they are BE'd), but anything on Tatooine that isn't vicous ought to do. There are Krabhu though. Those are pretty good.
