You do not seem to get it ChelseaRorec, It is not about pets out town. It is about another bug CH must except and work around. Us creature handlers who have been handlers over a year are tired of finding ways around all the CH bugs. We were nerf basicly out of the any kindof GSW participation, get destroyed in pvp, and still deal with bugs like pets auto store for a year. Now you say "don't leave your pets all over town". I was walking in the wild when a player summoned my pet away from me for giggles. I was also just passing through Theed when it happened. Yes I can get it back but that is not the issue. The issue is more crap CH have to tolerate. "STOP DEFENDING SOE!" demand they fix things. Do not forget you are paying to play this game.

Hey i agree with you there are alot of things that need fixing but then some things can be overcome with abit of common sence.

No I wouldnt miss /summon Vert I've never used that, but I do use /follow for recalling pets when I want to stop them attacking, like last night, and getting my cat to stop attacking the baby Screecher I was chasing.

This just happened to me, I took out my pet to go back in the wild and another MCH with his pets out /summoned it away. I had to call it back and telling the pet to stay didnt work. I got really annoyed and stored my pet and just logged.
And those that are defending /summoning, it sounds like your saying that CHs deserve to have their pets taken away. They have their pets out for a reason that you dont know (in my case, the other MCH was just being annoyinghaving his kimo on patrol).
Look, I dont have my pets out to intentionally annoy anyone, cant I go about my business without someone bothering me for once?!

Actually I took a short break for some of the summer and this is new to me. I am not sure I even fully understand it. If I may ask a question, are the pets that are "summoned" actually gone for good, or do you still have in your data pad?
I was involved in a griefing incident this summer which was extrmely challenging. Eventually it did get resolved but not until I went up the SOE chain of command and by -passed many of the CSR's.
Truthfully I find that the CSR's or even the devs reluctant or incapable of handling out discinplinary action to other paying customers. However if you go high enough, ( and everyone has a boss), you can often find results.

You don't lose the datapad device and you can store them if using /follow doesnt' bring them back. The problem is that anyone and I mean anyone can call, with luck or persistence, your pet away. This is any pet including droids and faction pets. Any dork can issue /summon commands at a targeted pet and the pet will follow them. I've seen an entertainer droid and docs buff droid both called away for no other reason than some dweeb was bored and thought it was funny.
You can be in the middle of a mission lair, buffing others, carrying out a performance, or using your faction pet against NPC enemies when it suddenly wanders over and starts following someone else. Its bad enough that they can autostore on you without warning, now you have to watch forjuveniles having a laugh at your expense.

SHOW OFF!! Just because we have a pet out don't mean we are a show off. Some people, like the guy at the begining of this thread, was TRYING TO SELL MOUNTS! Why don't you read the whole thread before mouthing off troll.

VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION!!! WE CAN LEAVE THEM OUT, EVERYONE ELSE CAN GROW UP! If we have to keep our pet stored, then tell the other yahoo's to store there weapons when they come into town, At least that would help some. Now, stop trolling.

Actually, it still baffles me why people want mounts over Vehicles. So many have asked me to mount, train etc I charge a small fee. yeah its annoying when I go into Theed or Coronet, and then my pets go away. I type /macro follow which does:
/macro follow
/tellpet follow
/macro follow
and no matter how hard they try, they maually cannot lead my pets away from me. ive been doing this macro for a while now, and either less people have tried, or I have had better luck at selling

So does this mean everyone in a town should put their weapon away? There are thugs and baddies in almost all thecities that will kill me. I have no combat skills. My pets are my lifeline. I'm supposed to die because there are tards out there that will take my weapons away from me?
That's your solution?
