Thread: Animal Armor/PvP/Mounted weapons.

Exactly what I was saying Master, Mounted knights are equivalent to a melee character on a mount, mounted archers are equivalent to a ranged combat profession on a mount. Giving CH the ability to use combat specials (and other things like med packs) whilst mounted would just be a reflection of how well we CH can control our mounts. It just makes sense that a CH on a mount should be more effective than a non-CH on a mount.
Also I really do the multiple pet bonus idea, makes a lot of sense and would be a lot of fun too.
The mounted PSG and guns I really love aswell but I'm gonna play devils advocate here and say that people would scream that DE's should be able to make the same sought of thing (which I'm all in favour of) or possibly a vehiclular tank with a big gun.

Idea Name: Roar(Cant think of good name, think Lion Roaring Elephant Trumpeting)
Brief overview of how you see it working. Bascially this will be a special attack that certain animals will get(eg. Gurreck, Grauls, Rancors, Razorcats) It will work like Warcry, to stop a CH spamming it while he attacks, it will have a 30 second timer, and the same fail rate as Warcry 1. It will have a Delay rate of 10 seconds
Why it is needed. Its just a cool Idea i thought of, and it would make up the gap a bit between them and brawler base classes.

Idea Name: Equiping weapons on Mounts
Brief overview of how you see it working. TKA, who fight unarmed, can equip vibro knucklers to greatly increse there dmg, why not Pets. Such as duranium claws for a sill, and spicked helmets for bols, dewbacks ect. And how about for the Big animals, like tortons, and Malkocs. How about weapons you can equip on each leg,(Like the spike around hose war elephant things in Lord of The Rings). Euiping weapons on pets sound logical to me. What do you think?

Who makes it/interdependencies (if needed).Weaponsmiths bot for say spiked hemets the armorsmith get the weapon part from the weaponsmith and the arorsmith crafts it
Great ideas guys. I hope we can get some of them put in. I watched ANH yesterday (again) and to see the stormies there with lances on the dewbacks just hits home on how this should work.
Brief overview of how you see it working.Everyone wants to be able to have more than oneperson in there vechiles and on there mounts. I mean some of the mounts can hold 2 people. So when they allow 2 people per mount, how about the second person be a rear mounted gunner.
Why it is needed.Its a cool idea. Think as it like hit and run attacks, or light "mechanization"
Who makes it/interdependencies (if needed).Tailors would craft a certain sadle with mounting bracket, then after buying the sadle the person would buy a mountable weapon from a Weaponsmith. Then he would buy an air freshener from the Artisan, and would be set.
Brief overview of how you see it working.This is a grand plan, but Chariots might be a cool idea, the could be armored and and/or have mounted weapos. or towed artiarly, this would be for base sieges, such as if the petition to give bases blast doors, this might be needed, to take down Shield generators, and alike. Of course this idea will never be implemented but I can dream cant I.
Why it is needed.Its a cool idea, and mounted chariot combat might be cool, or bringing in some heavy artilary like seen in the battle of hoth.
Who makes it/interdependencies (if needed).This stuff would require, Archetects, Armorsmiths, and eaponsmiths.

Idea Name: NO VITALITY LOSS/PETS DO FULL DAMAGE IN PvP
Brief overview of how you see it working:PETS SHOULDN"T LOOSE VITALITY WHEN THEY GET INCAP IN PvP. ALSO SINCE PETS TAKE FULL DAMAGE IN PvP, THEY SHOULD DO FULL DAMAGE ALSO, AND NOT BE SUBJECT TO THE PvP DAMAGE REDUCTION!
Why it is needed.IT IS NEEED BECAUSE CH HAS NO PvP BENFITS AT ALL AND THE ONLY PETS THAT CAN EVEN START TO COMPETE IN PvP ARE SO RARE YOU DONT EVEN WANT TO USE THEM.
Who makes it/interdependencies (if needed). NO ONE MAKES THIS THEY IS A CORE FLAW!
PS. I KNOW THAT THIS IDEA ISN'T ORIGINAL AND THAT THERE HAS BEEN MANY A POST ABOUT THIS BUT THIS DESERVES TO BE IN HERE!
