One of the reasons I was looking at novice defender was to get the same innate armor value as master defender. I was also being pretty lazy not wanting to grind out the other line in healer 
Does anyone know of a place to get a template builder? I saw one awhile back and lost the link.

In regards to aura, you might want to check the actual damage it mitigates. From a little bit of testing I have done, it doesn't seem to do much. It seems to reduce the damage by around 30 or so per hit from a LS. I dueled a jedi with both templates and the difference in damage taken was only 30 with aura up.

MLS 4440 defender 4000 heal3002 or 2003 enhancer is my template of choice...i believe its essential for a jedi to master the sabers..but i do hear template one is a very good template...

You and I are pretty darn close... I'm MLS Def 4440, Heal 4100, and Enh 0004. That leaves 5 whopping skill points that I just can't use, unless I can pump it into some FS skills (which we can't at the moment.......)

I wouldn't go that far at all. We have no clue what the FRS is going to do to any of the templates.

Agreed. FRS is still a very unknown quantity, especially as we have no timeframe for it's return. Right now, I'm looking into creating a template that A) Isn't FOTM/FTW B) Is something fun that I'd like to keep playing C) Is just that little bit different.
If it's not perfect in PvP, so be it. If I can't solo most of the high end content, so be it. It's my 'toon, my adventure, my story. After all, isn't that what SWG is all about? Playing out our own individual story in the Star Wars saga? If I can't do that, why am I paying my cash to SOE and not out playing something else?

you say that now, then when you cant advance because you're template sucks, you will cry for nerfs. get it?

I've never asked/cried/whined/ect. for nerfs of any kind and I never will. I think bringing another profession or in Jedi's case Discipline, down because I don't believe it's fair that I can't beat it with my personal template, is stupid and childish. So don't even try and tell me what I'll say. You don't speak for me and you don't know me and how I think and how I'll react. Troll elsewhere.

You won't last long. Maybe if you're always in a group you'd be ok with just Stims but...i wouldn't advise it.

i've never seen a jedi with no healing, and average defences, but, it would be interesting

so the force armor and force shield with Imp aura would not be enought defense?
