If thats not enough Def, how do people PVP and PVE agains the really big baddies (Ancient Krayt, Necro, etc...) Ive read the Faqs, but it seems like they all say this is bugged, or that is bugged, or this might be fixed...its too confusing, lol

i think that you would last pretty long, only in group battles, may be ok there. avoid incap, channel, drain, force armor, etc., but it isnt very logical for any 1v1 fights. using avoid incap vs one person is way too much force to waste in non group battles
