It is definetly harder to stay calm when pushed to the brink, or over. I have flamed my share fair of Devs, but the other day I had to ask myself, "so what has it accomplished?" At the moment I don't have an answer. All I know is that somewhere there has to be some middle ground between boot licking and Fighting. That is the ground I want to find.
Can you help me?
/apologize Sorry Sky, I just think it's time for them to come to the plate. I do believe that is my 4th or 5th post where I've raised my "voice" in any way, so it would take a vivid imagination to label me a flamer, unless theyr'e offended by the term "mythical" lol. I do not consider myself hostile in any way towards the devs, and would welcome any that wish to confer with us with open arms and mind. No, flaming hasn't gotten us anywhere, but being nice hasn't either. The flames didn't start right away, but they stopped visiting nonetheless...all this is moot if they don't see this post...if they want to confer, there are numerous posts that I will bump up and/or quote to let them know all the great ideas we've come up with, permitting them to avoid any possible contact with flames. Maybe calm submission of our ideas? Vert's been doing that for us, but we can start another thread for comments. I don't know what else we can do...

I have to say i can only hope and pray that 1 day our profession will be fixed . I have found i just woke up and it hit me , i am living in a dream world and our profession will forever be worthless in the eyes of the devs . In my eyes ienvisioned our beloved profession something great and the passion all of us true MCH's have towards it . I believe peace will not last and we will be ignored for a very long time to come. I am sorry if i am bringing everyone down with my post , but i to have seen and heard all the promises they have told us and none ever came our way .
I love the corral idea , but if you look at it and understand it is something we will never see ....... b/c we want it . when the game first came out and about 3 months after CH was about 50% of the population ..... and now we are maybe 5% who are true Masters of the Creature handler .
My faith , the little of it i have left for our profession is dying each and everyday . will i ever drop MCH ............. no way in hell . i love it to much to just let it go . but ask me do i use my pets .... no i dont . why b/c i dont want to watch my pets get there butt kicked all over the place . i do use from time to time. but it is hard to when you love your pets and watch them take a beating , its hard to do .
well now i have to figure out a way in order for me to become a jedi , i have to figure out a way to get my petsfrom 1 toon to my secondtoon when i open up the second charslot .i know i will have a long time before that happens but this is something i have to make sure i have taken care of so i dont lose all my pets that i hard worked so hard to get .

I am Pluto's NinthMoon and I endorse this statement.
So here we stand. I wrote the Dev/CH Peace Accord 2004. Sky wrote this version. The are similiar in saying we want to play nice with the Devs. The only real stickler is we DO want TH to apologize.
I just heard somewhere that if you do not have anything nice to say that you should shout louder. Sky, myself and others would relish not having to shout or being mean.
In fact:
TH once wrote, " I'd like the correspondents to work with the top performers in their forums to pick 18 people and the 20 of us would group up, go in game and talk about gameplay, challenges, bugs, etc. Just a way to increase communication. If you guys can show me whats going on, I'll have a better understanding. I am working my way through all the professions, but I dont think you guys want to wait for me to grind through everything before I can share insights with the devs. So, I need to interact with ya more in-game."
Now the Sandbox will fix all communications about new items. But how to I convince TH that any pet I use that gets hit with dizzy by a Piket runs away in terror? TH run a Friday Nite Gripe Session. Come to Dantooine with me and watch me hunt. Watch my pets get dizzied and run. Then you will see. It happens with all pets. I have all the time in the world I am a reclusive shut-in, message me if you want to learn something. The only times I am not home are family emergencies and AA meetings.

So TH we on for a Valcyn CH gathering so I can show you my pet is not a coward? That the AI in pets is messed up. Dizzy should make a pet fall down if anything, but running away...NEVER. I mean play the spin around a baseball bat game 20 times then run to first base. No one or no thing wants to run when dizzied.

The whole problem with this thread is that we aren't really offering anything to the Dev's. So what if we sit here and flame them or verbally attack them. All they have to do is what they've always done, not read the boards. What you're essentially saying is "If you give me everything I want I'll stop doing nothing. If I don't get it, I'll start doing nothing again." What kind of deal is that?
