I have not had that happen. I did once tame2 sentry hermit spiders right before I went to bed (was watching the time because I should have been to bed hours before) where one was tamed at 1:57 and the other at 2:01 and their growth cycles were2 hoursapart (some kind of timing window?).I have never had petscycling at different rates just that one time at different times.

First, I didn't say he way lying. I said it sounded like BS (as in he was just making it up to annoy us or whatever) or he was bad at math and could have been mistaken.

Actually, that is saying I'm lying. And my math is just fine.

An update on my pair of GSPs. This morning before leaving for work I logged in, downloaded whatever patch they put in, and played for about 40 minutes.

I'm 1-1-1-3, so ever since I've been able to, I've hunted with both GSP babies, which I tamed about 20 minutes apart. That's all I've done- hunting with both of them out, every time I've logged on. It doesn't matter when I've logged on, how long I've stayed on. Because the two of them have seen the SAME AMOUNT of time, wherever in play or just sitting in my datapad, or dormant as bits and bytes on server's disk array, when I'm not in play.

Now, after this preamble, what age are my twin GSPs today? Hardy is level 16. Laurel is level 8. This morning, as of 10am EDT.

I know how to tell time. I know how to do themath. I still don't know how this growth formula works.

krowa - the current HAM and difficulty level are not proportional as you tried to understand them. The HAM starts as 10% of full grown and increases in 10% spurts (or should) until full grown. The difficulty level changes, but it doesn't grow by 1 for each cycle.

Albino - sorry to tell you, but they do not grow regardless of being logged in. 2 weeks ago I had a mountain dewback, grand wrix, and greater sludge panther that were about 50% grown and did not increase a single point in HAM when I returned from vacation 10 days later. And since I only log in once a day, I only get a 10% increase per day.

From what I've seen, pets will grow 10% every twelve hours if you have logged in recently. Logging in once a day gets me one cycle. I think there were times that I was logged in for 6 or more hours straight that I might have grown by 2 cycles, but don't quote me on that.

I thought that your pets would keep growing for 12 hours after you logged out.(or one cycle) Then when you log back in they will start growing again. What i want to know is whether or not playing with your pets(tricks) and feeding your pets has anything to do with their growth rate. I welcome any input.

I don't know if you read my linked thread about me graul maulers, but if feeding and tricks have anything to do with it, it works opposite as you would think. The grauls that I fed and had do tricks grew normally as expected in 10% increments. The rauls I neglected insode my datapad that never got fed and never performed tricks grew exponentially bigger in much less time.

Go figure.

Whats the fastest way to make an pet grow?

ive noticed that pets only seems to grow when you are online. As i have an character on Eclipse wich i stoped playing when the europe servers came up. And just before i stoped logging in with him i ought an Cowardly gurrec. Now when i logged in with him just to chek if he was full grown he hadnt grown one lvl.

Mostly it takes me aout 1 week to get a pet full grown then i play almost every day. But what i want to know is whats the fastest way to grow an pet to full size.

And if anyone know the formula used on pets growing

From my experience, it's simple: the more you play the more they grow. Also, not verified but heard that if you log in every 12 hours they will grow faster also.

A little interesting fact, I had two graul mauler babies before i was master, and i could still have them both out at the same time, i did a bit of pvp with them, then WHAM i couldnt pull them both out anymore, they were both full grown, up from halfway grown just minutes before. I recently got two TMBs, and funny, i had them both out, using them for PVP and what should happen? They grew up from about half grown. I dunno if its just a fluke or what, but thats my experience.

it seems like I recall that having pets fight will help them "grow up" faster. Is that true? Or do they just grow up at a constant rate?

We don't know for certain because no dev has ever told us, but it seems the only thing affecting growth is how often you log on. It will grow every 12 hours if you've come on a bit more often than that, but it doesn't grow if you don't log on.
