I keep track of time just fine. My watch is a Timex.

I wonder if theres a bit of truth to this too. As I live in a stupid timezone (ZE12!) I sometimes login before I go to work, to clear mail / do some running / whatever while I eat breakfast.. urr.. sounds a bit sad, but anyway the point is on some days when I've done this, my pets seem to have experienced double growth.
I think it is based to some extent on elapsed game time rather than real life time. Bacause I have noticed the more time i spend in the game the faster the creature seem toogrow.

Sounds like BS to me or sombody sux at math.
I have had hundreds, yes hundreds of pets and not one has ever been off the 10% growth spurt schedule.

I've never broken a bone in my life. All those of you who reckon you have are just plain LYING. It doesn't happen, so toughen up and take your leg out of that cast. It can't happen because it's never happened to me.

First, I didn't say he way lying. I said it sounded like BS (as in he was just making it up to annoy us or whatever) or he was bad at math and could have been mistaken.
Seccond, you example sux try this one.
I have never broken a bone nor has anyone in the entireuniverse not only during my lifetime but throghout the entire history of the universe. Therefore, I find it i hard to believe without some evidence other than the fact that youable to get on the forums andtype a 2 then a 5 then hit shift and 5 at the same time.
I really feel sorry for you if you take everything that any douchebag spouts as fact simply because they said so.

I didn't say you said anyone was lying, you merely chose to take it that way. Anyway, calm down, my example was merely to prove that a fair few people are saying that they experience faster growth rates, and some people want to disagree. How do you know what other people have experienced? Quite simply, you don't. You can speculate as to what these people are actually experience, but you will never know.
If you bothered to read the thread, you'd notice that more than one person hasexperienced this - are all these people "making it up to annoy you"?
As for things that "sux" as you so elegantly chose to phrase it, the only thing that "sux" in this thread is your quality of english and/or typing. I'm sorry but your paragraph really doesn't make a lot of sense - I'm sure you have a great point to make, but perhaps you might want to type it again and go a little slower on the keyboard?
yep there is nothing you can do. they usualy grow 1000 hit points pet day(this isnt exact though).

This is what I quoted above already. I suggest anyone who wants to make another post spouting off how everyone else can't tell time, or how all creatures grow in 10% increments every 12-hours no matter what, read this post before you make yourself look stupid.
My experience, explained in the linked thread, does not require the ability to tell time. The creatures were caught at nearly the same time, and when they were checked at the same time frames, they had grown at DRASTICALLY different rates. The actual time that occurred was irrlevant, what was important is that it was the same amount of time for all of the creatures, whether it was 12-hours, 60-hours, or 4-years; they grew at different rates in the same time frame. To update that thread, last night my two maulers that I have been using were at CL=12, while the others that have not been used were at CL=27. Last night was approximately 3-days (~ 72-hours = 6-periods of 12-hours) after all of them were tamed from the wild. You do the math, but I guarantee you it does not come out to 10% every twelve hours no matter how you look at it in this case.
I have also read many posts about people going on vacation for a week or two without logging in and when they returned their pets had not grown AT ALL. So whether it is working as intended to be completely random, or on some formula with variables that are not apparent, it is evident that pets DEFINITELY, beyond a shadow of a doubt, DO NOT ALWAYS GROW at the same rates.

WhenI am on 16 - 18 hours on a Saturday I get 4 cyles of growth. When I am on 8 - 10 hours on a Sunday I get 2 cycles. WhenI am on 3 hours on a weekday I get one. If I log in before I go to work and let it run till autodisconnect then play my 3 hours when I get homeI get 2 cycles on a weekday.It ihas beenconsistant this way for 4 straight weeks. Unless I myself am caught up in some kind of SWG temporal bug, the amount of time you are on adds to growth cycles. It doesnt matter if the pets are in pack or fighting. I just get more cycles if I am logged in more hours of the day. If it's a bug so be it,I will take it, but I see a DIRECT reflection of time logged in to growth cycles.

I also see a direct relationship of pet growth with time spent logged into the game. However, that doesn't explain why the same species of pets, caught at the same time, in the same person's possesion, and thereforeare logged into the game the same amount of time, still decide to grow at completely different rates.
