You can kill one(adult) and wait for the next one to spawn hoping for a baby but I hear they don't spawn at all anymore.

Is this thing tamable? Any idea where to find the babies if it is? I've only ever seen adults (always only one), just before they kill me.

I had one outside my house last night. It hit me on my way in but luckily I survived.

I saw one of these once.

It was on top of me fast, and smacked me down before I even knew what hit me. Three hits and I was back at the cloning center. I think they're around CL50-60. I looked, but I can't remember for sure.

Both times I have seen them has been about 1-2K north of Coronet. The first time it jumped me and killed me and my group before we could react. Killed a couple of our pets, too. We wounded it enough, though, that after cloning and running back out, we were able to kill it.

I saw the second one in time to avoid it.

SWG.Warcry.com lists it as Tamable, but does not give the level. If it is tamable, I want one! To hell with the Graul Maulers that run away from Durnis like the sissies they are! This cat is tough!

That's a great plains hunter, not a stalker. The stalker is a lot stronger.

heh, yeah, kinda silly isn't it? IMHO the only thing without babies should be "ancient" versions of critters. (though it would be pretty cool if having the same pet for over 6 months or something made it turn into the ancient version)

So I've started looking for a great plains stalker. I find when I only have an hour or so, I waste more time trying to get to a planet and run missions, so I've been riding/flying around central corellia.

I haven't seen any yet, but I thought of somethign and thought I'd post hear to get feedback. Rather than just ride and ride, I thought I might try scorched earth as I travel. Meaning kill every spawn I find. This would free up spawn points and maybe the next time I come around there might be one.

I know other games have worked that way, but I'm not sure about this one.

What do yawl think?
