Last night I went to Talus (Tempest) to harvest some Herbivore meat, and I figured the best place to get that would be from the Kahmurras at the Biogentic Research Station (that in-game typo really bugs me!). I drove over to the lab, and there was not a single mob in sight... of any kind. I walked all the way to the basement of that place without seeing a single soul, and when I've been there before that place had some scientists and tons of various Kahmurras in the halls and outside. I ran a couple Kahmurra missions, to see how well that would pan out, and as far as I recall, the only wild mobs I saw was a group of NPC Hunters near one of my mission lairs.Unless the mobs at the Biogentic Research Lab have a horribly long spawn time and someone cleared it out before I got there, then the mobs just weren't spawning at all.It is also worth noting that half of the player cities on Talus (Tempest) were not on the global map. Talus must be really borked right now. I bought a shuttle ticket to get to a player city near the Kahmurra lab; that player city was not listed on the global map, and their shuttleport was also not listed on the global map, but the map for buying tickets listed all of the places that had shuttleports.
Yeah I think Talus is all messed up, but according to the CSR it is working exactly as intended. That means they set it to work the way it is, with is almost no mobs spawning, player cities not showing up on the global map, etc. Makes one wonder why on earth they would intentionally bork up an entire planet like that. I guess they probably figure that CH's are already broken so might as well make it as fun as possible for Jedi. Sigh!

So this is happening with both the Lost Village of Durbin and the Kahmurra Biogenetics Lab? Do all static spawns everywhere seem to be getting into a state of "perma-empty" like this?

Yes on Kuari the GSP spawn is way off. And the lab is not spawning worth a darn.

Jeffn vistited the lost village of Durbin today, and there was nothing there. No sludge panthers of any type.No lesser, no medium, and no greater sludge panthers. It was empty.
The only place he saw mobs of any kind (and admittedly he was zipping around in an AV-21) was newbie mobs around Nashaul. He came on planet at the Imperial Outpost, went up to grab the Imp vs. Reb battle badge, went south again to check a harvester, then headed straight to Durbin, and from there to Nashaul. Nothing at all.
In contrast, on Dathomirover the weekend, there were mobs galore, even as he zipped to the Village on his speederbike.
If it is "working as intended" that now greater sludge panthers are scarce to non-existent as yet another means of controlling the Jedi population (that is, another dispicable covert "goal post" movement by the developers), then it's time to get serious about cancelling accounts again. I don't know how much more of this casual contempt of players on the part of SOE I can take.

I'm glad i found my two a couple weeks ago...they're my favorite pet, I would be very dissapointed if they went rare, ESPECIALLY from jedi.

I also wandered around Talusand found virtually nothing away from the cities. Same thing happened to me on Rori too. I submitted a bug report and never heard anything back. Also many of the caves and POI's are empty too. I was hoping to get some CH xp on those planets but nooooooo!

It seems most of the POI are empty. The stronghold on corllia and hyberdrive faclity on naboo seem to stay empty. The thing is even if someone kills the NPCs they will leave the atst. I know this is not creatures but still seems odd to see these placed empty.

hey, i'm new to the forums so yeah, blah..
anyway i've was buzzing about on talus doing imp missions but i was going to a few player cities aswell for vehicle repairs etc and i was finding nothing in my travels..(just reporting in) it is a shame as i also would like one and i'm just over half way to becoming a Master CH and one of the reasons was to have some Greater cats
also i think that Master CH's should be able to ride the Great cats, that would be class

Talus is dead on Farstar too. Small critters and red NPCs around the cities but in the wilderness, nothing. I went there to tame a Greater Sludge Panther, a Tortur and a Grand Wrix. That planet is deader than my sex life.

The lost village does spawn GSP's, at least it did before Pub 10. I was there a few weeks ago. I was having trouble finding GSP babies, so I killed off everything in town and hoped a baby would respawn. After 45 minutes nothing had respawned, so I left.
SoI suspect nobody sees anything there now because all the Jedi's to be are killing them off shortly after they spawn, and then you have the real long respawn timer which was in effect before the patch.
Afriend of mine mesaaged me about this the other day, because he had to kill 20 sludges of any type, and had trouble finding any. I sent him to the swamp, and told him to run so he didn't swoop through before they could spawn. He didn't have any luck for about 45 minutes, then he said they started spawning everywhere.

I thought the same thing. I figured that maybe on my AV-21 I was blowing by things so fast that they didn't have time to spawn or appear on my radar. So I put my AV-21 away and ran on foot from the Imperial outpost to Drearic and the only thing I saw was a single lair that someone was killing (probably from a mission).
I am convinced that Talus has been severly nerfed for the Jedi. Like Soha said they have to kill 20 sludge panthers (of any type). There is no way the dev's would make this something easy to do so the only way to make it hard is to make sludge panthers a super rare spawn. Nice! I feel for anyone (me included) who wants a GSP from this point on. I have this feeling they are either completely extinct now or very very rare. They might need to be added to the rare baby's list as Trophy's, Extinct, or very Rare.

So, one of the possible conclusions here is that the Devs inadvertently screwed Creature Handlers so that they could control how quickly Jedi progress through the new quests? Maybe they didn't change anything, and the Jedi are just killing everything so fast we don't have a chance?
I hate Jedi sooooooooooo much.
I simply cannot stand the fact that players are allowed to be Jedi in this game. Making the entire galaxy literally revolve around such a tiny portion of the playerbase just rubs me the wrong way, but the fact that a good 75% of the playerbase wants to *be* that tiny portion of the playerbase is just ludicrous.
I seriously feel like the Jedi profession has done absolutely nothing but hurt this game.
