Thread: Greater Sludge Panthers Extinct?

Just a couple weeks ago, at least 30 SP and GSP were spawning in the lost village every half hour. I was killing them all night looking for a baby until I remembered baby's don't spawn at POI's.
I found two north of the imperial outpost, might want to try there.

Well at least if this trend continues, the only thing we will be taming is a Jedi (baby) witch are plentiful! lol

Ack, I deleted the ticket and don't remember the CSR's name (I believe it started with an S but that's all I remember). I'm so used to them always telling me they can't do anything to help that I've gotten where I just immediately delete the ticket as soon as they respond with there normal "I can't help" answer. Sorry about that.

I will check Shadowfire tonight. I don't have oo much going on at the moment anyway. However, one thought is the Lost City of Durbin POI. If they are not spawning there, this would be very odd indeed.

Talus has been one of the most severely borked of the spawners in recent months. I'll have to take a look... you mean nothing at all is spawning there now? 
I don't think the lost city of Durbin has GSPs... just regular sludge panthers, right? Either way, all of the cats there are static. And at this point, it's probably safe to conclude that staticmobs aren't spawning babies.

A friend and i searched for them about 5 days ago, it took us about 90minutes off driving around south of Dearic before we found a spawn of GSP's. We got 2 baby's from that spawn

Greetings,
I traveled from Dearic to the Durbin POI and ran into no spawns once I escaped the city yard trash. The POI was devoid of creatures completely. I then set a wp for the swamp, and along the way I ran into a few fynocks and a small pack of crazed Robas.
Once in the swamp, I encountered a couple Humbabas, a Dung Mite lair and a few more Fynocks. I have never seen the swamp so desolate.

I ran around Talus some more last night and I did see a couple of spawns of mobs but very very few and no GSP's at all. No Grand Wrix's either. Mainly only the same mobs Pem said he saw.
Does anyone know if the spawn rate on a planet is based on how many people are hunting on that planet? Maybe nothing is spawning there because nobody is hunting there???

Hmmm, ya know what? Last night I went to Talus (Tempest) to harvest some Herbivore meat, and I figured the best place to get that would be from the Kahmurras at the Biogentic Research Station (that in-game typo really bugs me!). I drove over to the lab, and there was not a single mob in sight... of any kind. I walked all the way to the basement of that place without seeing a single soul, and when I've been there before that place had some scientists and tons of various Kahmurras in the halls and outside. I ran a couple Kahmurra missions, to see how well that would pan out, and as far as I recall, the only wild mobs I saw was a group of NPC Hunters near one of my mission lairs.
Unless the mobs at the Biogentic Research Lab have a horribly long spawn time and someone cleared it out before I got there, then the mobs just weren't spawning at all.
It is also worth noting that half of the player cities on Talus (Tempest) were not on the global map. Talus must be really borked right now. I bought a shuttle ticket to get to a player city near the Kahmurra lab; that player city was not listed on the global map, and their shuttleport was also not listed on the global map, but the map for buying tickets listed all of the places that had shuttleports.
