forget it, thats what guilds are for... guildies are MORE than accepting of CH's in grind groups. Forget what another CH does at MO... MO has become what Kadaara has become... a bunch of people in it for themselves. Get 6 of your guldies together and make it an event... in a good group: you'll be master in 6 hours.

i recently struggled with this MO thing myself, elitests know no limits

I ran into people like that a number of times during my grind. The best adivice I can give is to hunt with fellow CH's or before you hunt with a group check to see if anyone objects to you working on ch.

What I dont get is people freaking out saying your not helping when your pet is contributing to the fight maybe not as much but they do help.

If any other ch's on the kauri server need help on there grind i'll be happy to help them and answer there questions.

Just send a tell to Steve'

I'm novice CH. I have no problems getting in spin groups. I tell em that I'm grinding CH xp and it's still usually not a problem. A lot of times they just want bodies to fill spots so the missions are larger.

My experience on FarStar are quite positive: As long as they have a tank in the group and can do their spinning thing, they are happy about every CL80. In regards to the time pulling out the pet - this is nothing compared to the time they need to get their force filled up.

Most people I met were very positive having a CH in the group, I even sold pets to them while doing missions.

Of course I can't stop the group and ask them to wait for me, because I just saw a pet I want to tame.

i havent had any problems but my guildmate has. he had a fambaa (yes i know they are annoying when big) but he just tamed it. this thing was no bigger then my full grown lvl 70 cat. and all he wanted to do was lvl it 2 or 3 times to get the ability. that would have teken like 2 lairs in a spin group. but they kicked him for calling it. boy was i pissed when i heard that and it wasnt even me. if im in a spin group i usually level my AOE pets. last night i was using my gigantic bull rancor and told him to attack lair and was getting 100k or more per lair. they thought it was cool in my group but then again half were guildies and the others were people id grind with before. it all depends on the people it seems

Yup, CH are VERY VERY bad for grind groups... in order to level you need the creature to hit each one at least once...so you are switching targets a lot to try and get the most hits in before the spin groups kills them.

Groups wont let the CH put the pets in the group...so the CL of your petis usually a lot lower then the things you are hunting (so they do horrible damage)

Really, a CH in a normal grind group is pretty useless.... until pets can become the masters CL without having to group, they will just be sitting outside of it trying to get hits in for exp. (No group is going to let a CH take up 4 of the 8 group spots because he wants the pets to hit a little harder).

Just keep trying to get into groups and dont tell them you are a CH... pull the pets and do your thing without drawing too much attention to get the grind over with. Sit there and micromanage your pets to get tons of exp until your a master and then you dont need the grind groups anymore....its just something you want to get past as fast as possible.

I dont know if you are a CH or not - but this is as far from the truth as its possible to be unfortunately .

With the new system achieving MCH is really the beginning of the grind because you then go out and get ya high level pets and need to train them to open ability slots - quite often you need to level a CL70 pet at least ,say, 15 times to open all available slots (possibly more) and at 410,000 xp per rollover thats over 6 million xp needed per level 70 pet - most MCH will have quite a few CL70 pets so thats one heck of a lot of grinding to do AFTER MCH has been reached

Hmm i dunno if you are a CH or not - but the "use small pets" argument is pretty invalid thanks to SOE deciding that the final size of any BE pet should be based on the level of the pet and not on its natural size in the wild - I have a 12 foot tall Woolamander (BE level 70) where the wild counterparts only reach ya knee

As soon as most Level 70 BE pets have been levelled 4 or 5 times they are the size of a small semi detached house!!! and theres nothing us CHs can do about it except use wild pets whose stats are, without exception, all lower than a BE pet of the same level

I play on Ahazi, and I rarely have any issues at the MO with getting into groups. The only things I usually see are people not waiting on us to start the lair, as well as the large pets issue. Other than that no big problems. I don't particularly look for high level groups either, because it doesn't seem to affect the xp my pets get.

I have had some really nice groups though where at least half or more of the group was a CH. That is a pretty fun group if you can get in one, especially when everyone pulls more than one pet. Hell I think we had about 15 to 20 things hitting the mob including the group & the pets combined.

It was a zoo out there.

If anyone needs CH assistance on Ahazi, feel free to holla.

I got kicked out of a group once by a fellow CH so he can make room for his pet. he then sends me a tell and says "If you tell me how the pet specials work I'll let you back in".....

I left

Sure and while were at it lets all make sure those dumb commandos put away any AOE weapon, cause there is nothing more annoying than a lone commando noob aggroing the entire lair and getting everyone killed. Hey lets also make sure CMs dont use area heals beccause it causes so much lag, and while were at it lets also make sure Jedi dont use light sabers or force powers, cause all those bright flashy effects annoy me.........................

Or how about we let everyone use whatever pet they want to level.

Im a CH/Commando, and you can whammy me once, but whammy me twice in one thread?
