Sure and while were at it lets all make sure those dumb commandos put away any AOE weapon, cause there is nothing more annoying than a lone commando noob aggroing the entire lair and getting everyone killed. Hey lets also make sure CMs dont use area heals beccause it causes so much lag, and while were at it lets also make sure Jedi dont use light sabers or force powers, cause all those bright flashy effects annoy me.........................

Or how about we let everyone use whatever pet they want to level.

Im a CH/Commando, and you can whammy me once, but whammy me twice in one thread?

Considere yourself whammied 3 times

If any CH wants someone to hunt with, novice or what ever, I would love to group up with them and do some hunting. For one thing, I have never grouped with my pets, I hunt alone with them. Hunting alone is a real challange since you have to be very careful, draw out one creature at a time. I hate doing group hunts where its so rushed (to me its not playing) so I stay away from most of the group hunting spots. So far I have 14 L1 ablilities and 7 L2, the one I want most is aggresion so my two cats can hold things away from me for a bit longer, I really hate going to the clone center, which I do alot. Before the CU as a TKA/CH I never did, now its much more fun for me since I have to really work at taking down a lvl 80 creature with my pets and as a Rifleman.

So any CH on around 6pm to 11pm EST on Bria that wants to group up pets, drop me an email. On weekends, on when ever. Both my toons are CH, one a BE/CH and the other Riflewoman/CH. Love my cats,,,,

I'm expecting to face some problems at the MO on Dant, but I"ve been pretty lucky that I'm still on friendly terms with a Rebel guild that is doing regular grind groups for their Jedi XP, so I get to call my pets and use them there.

That's something to consider, see if you can find a guild that is grinding. They are often more friendly towards a CH than the grind groups that form on Dant.

Excellent advice here. Pick-up groups tend to be pretty mercenary, with people coming and going without regard for how it might disrupt the others' grinding, or doing reckless things that get everyone incapped or killed. Plus there's some lingering ill will from the early days of the game, when Creature Handlers could tame almost anything, and could pull out any combination of threecreatures in their datapad without regard to level. Those were hard days for non-CH's.

Check your Galaxy's forum and look for posts from people who seem to have the sort of non-hysterical, non-L337-speeking personality you'd enjoy hanging with, and look in-game for some of them or their guildmates. And if you can, hook up with them for group XP, and make it an opportunity to get to know them.

Well, actually there are a few things more annoying (see above post about noobs popping off area attacks and aggroing the entire lair prematurely), but using a "right-sized" pet does help. Personally, I liked to pull out one of my mereks while grinding, because they looked so evil and wierd. They were usually good for a laugh. And they were just big enough for me to see them easily in the fight, while not being big enough to obscure anyone's view.

I play on sunrunner with my combat toon.

If i sit in the MO i generally get asked to join a group every time a group comes in.

You have to see it from the non-Ch's point of view though, pets create agro, this is something i think the devs should fix.

Well the thing is Ciir a ton of people actually know who you are and actually want you in their groups, plus you have a strong template anyway . Also, alot of people just like to randomly spam invites, I get random invites all the time when im in the MO and I've got to have around the least group-friendly template and attack strategims in the game :/.

Well being on Tempest server as a novice Ch is tough when looking for a good grind. But because I also heal a bit it gives me a little more edge when they begin to look for lower leveled players. But there have been times where i pull out a fully grown bol and had to put him back in the datapad because someone couldnt figure out it was a pet and would try to attack it. But when the pets draw off the agro when heir dieing they dont complain...
