How can I get a pet to grow to adult faster than just waiting?

In the datapad or out, growth seems to be the same, in my experience.

Here is something I noticed after Igot Taming 3. I went to Dath and tamed 4 Graul Maulers this was like 1-2am pst each was tamed about 20 to 30 minutes apart. I then logged for the night and went to bed. When I logged on the next morning they had not grown but around 1-2pm pst all 4 of them grew while I was playing exactly 20 to 30 mins apart just like when I had tamed them.This would of been at the 12 hour mark, they then grew again the next morning when I logged on. So they grew twice in 24 hours but since I work during the week I haven't been able to log in at 1-2 in the afternoon and they have only grown once each day.

I am wondering if you are logged in at the 12 hour mark if they will grow but if you don't they only grow once every 24 hours?

I think I read somewhere that all babies come in at 1/10 of their adult HAM. They then grow at 1/10 per 12 hour period from taming... so it takes 5 days from taming to reach maturity.

Correct Ter but it seems they only grow at the 12 hour point if you are logged in otherwise it is 24 hours. Also if you don't log in for 3 days your pet will not grow you have to actually log in for the pet to grow.

I seems completely random to me. I have had pets grow at all different rates. See this thread I posted a couple days ago, but nobody has ever responded:

I am convinced that pets grow differently, related to the person whose datapad it is growing in. I am 3/3/1/4 and my friend is Master CH. We went to endor and there was a handakak rock smasher baby outside a lair. He tamed it and transfered it to me. We milked the lair and another baby spawned. he tamed it and kept it. Mine was tamed first, if that matters, and last night his is full grown (lvl 34) and mine is lvl 18. I would love a definite reason for this...

One other fact is he logs in several times during a day and I tend to log in only once...

Well did you read the thread I posted right above you? Mine were all in my pad, allcaptured at relatively the same time, yet had completely different growth rates. Did you use you rock smasher by chance? and he left his in his pad? If so, that would be similar to my experience.

Pets grow 10% of their adult HAM every 12 hours. That’s 5 days until full grown.

It doesn’t matter if you’re logged in or not.

It doesn't matter if you fight with them or not.

It doesn’t matter if they’re stored in your data pad or not.

Anyone who say’s different doesn’t know how to keep track of time.

Just read your post and I did use mine while he, at master, just got it for something different and had not called it since taming. I wonder if it is recognized when a baby is used that it is prefered at the lower levels for xp and if not someone is just waiting for it to grow. I doubt this game is that intelligent, but oh well. I to thought it was a time guideline until this happened and still did not receive an explanation of this situation from the, I'll be nice, "Guy" questioning my time telling abilities. These 2 babies were tamed within 5 minutes of eachother. His grew two times faster than mine. If I cannot tell time, you have no education in mathematics.

AlbinoWookie it just ain't so. I have two friends who are Novice CHs like me.

One of them tamed a rock beetle 2 days before I did mine.

I then played a lot for several days straight, while he got busy with school and did not log in at all. When he returned to the game 4, 5 days later, my pet was FULL grown, while his was still at level 4 or 5, I can't remember now, but it definitely was not an adult.

Last week I tamed two baby GSPs that I named Laurel and Hardy. I probably got them 20 minutes apart, was real happy about that.

Well, a couple days later Hardy is level 10, while Laurel is still level 4. It really makes him look wimpy, since I'm doing my CH leveling hunting with the both of them out.

This is not hearsay or rumors I'm reporting. It's actual facts and accurate timeline observations. So make what you want of it. I just know is is NOT a constant growth rate for each and every single pet you may tame.

It’s possible that there’s a bug in the growing code. But I’ve been playing since day 2 of the release and every single one of my pets has grown according to the 10% every 12 hours rule. I have not had one single pet that didn’t grow 10% every 12 hours. Nor have I had one pet grow faster than 10% every 12 hours.

Also keep in mind that doing drugs and/or playing computer games for long periods of time effect your ability to keep track of time. "Dude, it’s Friday already? **edit**! That means I missed my English Lit. test. **edit**! Oh well, English Lit. isn’t going to get me a FSS."
