I -really- dislike the sounds of this CL system, as well as the grouping and such.

Yea this group thing is gonna be bad. They are really going to wish they had continued to listen to their sandbox testers when this goes live.

Ouch, this does not sound good. Just think what the auto store bug will do to us with this new CL "feature". It willtruely mean instant death especially for MCH. =(

hmm just read the TC noted from Tiggs, looks like in a week or so no more beta testing for people who haven't pre=ordered the new expansion.
This is not good they may have now just cut more than half the testers out of beta, I am not pre-ordering. I am waiting untill its live and hear from the people who will tell me the truth about it lol. and has similar likes as my own.
Bought JTL and never use it except to travel.
I will not be able to test MCH out and many here will not, this isn't a good game plan they have considering the bugs excisting right now and the push for more code and having mixed these 2 betas into one.
forget marketing reasons for doing this imo it is a bad idea
how many intelligent people who are testing will be unable to because of this.

Jope, I cant seem to find that post, but are you serious? Seems daft to me. Ive already pre-ordered(the lure of that new critter was too much for me
), but I wont be going anywhere near Kashyyyk because I dont want to spoil it for myself, and Ill bet quite a few other people who pre-ordered will feel the same way. They should have just flagged the accounts of regular TC players and then made Kashyyyk off-limits to everyone else.

Here is the link read some of the post that follow and you'l understand also note there isn't a reply or I should say wasn't a reply by anyone concerning the worries of expansion needed for testing.
its just a plain bad day lol.

the new TC name reflects the expansion pack being merged with the curb

I see no where in that thread about people who didnt preorder being excluded from testing the CU. What will most likely happen is that the people who preordered will have access to the new content and those who didnt will be able to test the normal stuff

I hope your right but if that is the intent I would think Tiggs would have followed up by now seeing as how she followed upon other questions in the thread.
It may also be true that if this was the intent that they will change they're minds, but my guess will be make them pay for it first lol not to mention if people play the expansion and dont like it in beta they will not buy it after. you see the risk, will soe take that chance.
I did not test JTL but a good question might be could you test it without pre-ordering it?
I will believe the no pre-order no testing at this point it is far more soe like.

Oh I forgot to mention
I remember when they announced the curb going beta and telling us that testing will be done for both atthe same time. they also noted at this point and it was wierd at the time that "sanbox testers will be invited to participate" or something like that.
This struck me as unusual at the time considering we all could join beta, but it is clear now they are going to let sandboxers in without a pre-order
Don't get your hopes up Joker, sorry bud but its not looking good

hmm then maybe my dissapointment today was only for 70% of everything I have read and experienced lol
not just the pre-order thing but several curb things I have seen and read about. the rivers are starting to over flow, They better start bailing.
I'l take whatever I can get at this point
I keep hearing a voice saying "Wewanted to take thetime to do it right"
dangit now where did I hear that and why don't I believe it

I have to say from what I've heard about grouping and the way it will affect the damage people affect I think I'm going to be very disapointed. Group level should only affect the missions you can pull. They should have left grouping that way it is, just sorted out the mission terms so you get missions that are the right level for you, taking into consideration buffs and armour.
I'm alos very disapointed about what I've heard about creature levels. The CL of creatures was fine.
Imo, if they had just implemented the new ham, armour, mods and specials things would have been fine. We'll see.
