Thread: Data Collection: What specials would you like to see added?
poison strike ( cant imagine how it ever could be removed
)
plague strike ( exactly, the old nasty 500 wounds per tick disease, ....give bull rancors their pride back )
stalk ability ( cover and stalk up to an oponent unseen )
... but at all I currently would by far more appreciate a decrease of the necessary pet xp on high level creatures and number of kills to unlock abilities ![]()
Being able to use your pet to pull one animal from a mob at a time was awesome I would like to see that ability return as a special
Toxic attack just a general poisoning attack. CHs were the other other profession besides CM to originally have the ability to poison. You know before stuff got out of hand.
Stalk ability allow a creature with this to not show up on radar would be nice way for chs to set up ambushes and to call pets without drawing attention to themselves.
General state resistance ability so we can up the state resist on our pets.

Seriously? I'd like for them to fix the specials we have first, like when I use hamstring l2 it still says l1 when I check it on the target
Toughen - Raises CL a small amount.
Was thinking L1 =1, L2 = 3, L3 = 5. This would allow more duo an triplet combos.
- Imperiling Feint (Lvl- 3)
- Fleet Footed (Lvl- 3)
Disarm
An attack that would unequip a weapon from a target and prevent them from re-equiping it for a brief period of time.
Harrass
An attack that would prevent the target from using any specials (or maybe just prevent heals) for a brief period of time. (aka: police attack dogs)
Rescue/Retrieve
An ability that would allow pets to drag incapped players or fetch items (ie; loot) from corpses or containers. When the command was given with something targeted the pet would go to targeted corpse and either loot it or drag it back to its owner.
Stalk
Would allow pet to go in cover or cloak until it attacked.
Fearsome Howl
An ability used in combat to force mobs to possibly retreat away.
Beast of burden
Would allow the pet to be used as a vendor for those that can use them normally so they could sell there wares on site at different locales. Maintenance would have to be payed and be current in order to pull the pet out or access its contents, or for others to access its contents.
Playful antics
When a pet with this ability was used in conjunction with an entertainer giving a buff the buff would be 1-3% stronger or longer, with 1-3 determined by the level of the ability on the pet.
Soothing nature
When grouped with this pet you would slowly heal wounds.
And of course...
Poison and disease dots
This is a fantastic list! Hard to choose just a few, so I support these as I love all of the ideas!

Ok, so these are stolen from player abilities. Sue me. ![]()
- An actual armor break ability. Sure, feint increases the damage done, but the armor reduction remains the same.
- A triggered taunt to allow CH's to use their pets to draw out mobs.
- An AoE spin attack

Anything cloak or camo-related should stay with the rangers.
Loan... we get it... you are looking out for the rangers, and thats great, but neither of your 2 posts here in this thread have given any ideas for abilities, which is the whole reason for the thread. Do you have any ideas for creature abilities?
