Thread: pet regen
Zalanthus, if you could put together two words of intelligence instead of two words of junior high insults maybe you'd be smart enough to do this simple math:
20k for a crate of stim Bs, using halfper month = 10k per month. Creatures now regen one tenth as fast, so you need to use stims 10 times as often. 10*10k per month means 100k per month. Increased demand (here's where the freshman levelecon principle will probably lose you) means increased prices. That means a creature handler, even at novice, is looking at 100k+ per month in stim costs. There isn't a single combat profession (and yes, even the devs said CH IS a combat profession) that costs even a fifth of that per month for the basic cost of playing the profession. You can call people wimps for not wanting to pay that much, or for not wanting to stop every five minutes to spend 30 minutes regening, but people like you who won't try to call the dev's attention to badly balanced professions are holding this game back from it's full potential.
Yeah the problem is finding a BE that is willing to make those crates for you. I am an architect and have a good bit of money to spend, but finding someone to sell them is much much harder than it should be.
My serious problem now is the regen rate on my probot, also dropped to about 5 ham per 30 seconds. at 3k ham, that takes 5 hours to regen after he gets a beat down. I took down 3 mountain worrts before he ran out of health. So 3 worrts every 5 hours? Man that sounds like fun. No stimpacks are gonna solve that problem.

OMFG, you question my intelligence? Read what the hell you just wrote?
Pets regen 10 times slower so I need to heal 10 times more? Do you know how dumb that is? Do you know how that makes 0 logical sence? Come on... I don't know what grade you're in, but anyone over 5th grade should understand how that makes absolutely 0 sence.
As I stated. I NEVER wait for pets to regen. I've used stims whenever I needed to get the beast back online. The only waiting I do is when I'm not doing anything anyway.
So, no, I won't use any more stims today, then I have been all along. So that 10K per month is actually more than I'd spend today, becasue Pet stims are more efficient than normal Stim Bs. I just had a friendmake4 32 use Pet Stim Cs that heal for between 800 1nd 1200 each use! True, they factory makable yet, but thats the bug I want addressed, then this whole point is moot.
100k per month??? What math class did you skip?
Pet stim patchs require NO SKILLS WHAT-SO=EVER. NONE.
All you do is use them.
Anyone can do it!
make your pet do a trick to heal mind...
far as regens, i left my near dead arachne webmaster out and stayed logged on while i slept..... hours later and he still isnt at half life.
i'm sorry dude but i am not going to train medic(which i have no interest in playing)just to heal my pet and waste valubale playing time healing and making stims etc.. talk about downtime.. its overboard killer ..
the ch is unplayable.. nerfed to hell and back.. i am fedup
Pets currently regen 5 HAM every 2 seconds. That means it takes a MAX of 36 minutes to let an 11000 HAM creature regen to full health.
5 ham every 2 secs =150 per min
150 per min * 60 min = 9000 ham per hour
errr i see like 3 different regen numbers quoted now from tc?
