Thread: Top Five Issues with the Creature Handler Profession
issue nr 1, 2 and 3 is PET PATHING!!!!!!!
god it's driving me nuts finding out that my pets are out of range all the sudden.
also random auto-storing..
PISSES ME OFF
Let BE's customize captured babies (pet slicing).
This is an outstanding idea...I also think babies should have varied stats instead of being identical...it would keep things more interesting...
Well since its now a regular occurance for a lone guy with 2 or 3 AT-ST to kill krayt dragons and we not had any word from developers about plans to change this (in the same way we had notification the CH needed some changes due to 3 rancor issue). I think this needs reconsidering. One frenzied graul or webmaster has nowhere near the PvE potential a AT-ST does.
It would take very little work to implement as the code is already written. If the developers are still unhappy with frenzied grauls and other extinct pets it would be useful to atleast get a post from them giving there reasons and how they see the relationship between CH pets and AT-ST.
Finally one suggest maybe to flag certian currently extinct pets as Master CH only regardless of their CL. This would give a good reason to be Master CH.
My main concern which is probably noone elses is either give humans a bonus like wookies or make rancors down to cl-40, as a master bounty hunter I am 1 point shy of a Gnarled Rancor, let BE's make them with just a little less of a CL, not fair that only Wookie Master Bounty Hunters can have them, ok other issues are the same you hear in every post
extinct pets
newer and stronger pets
MAKE PETS LISTEN MORE
and STOP disappearing pets

Nice Idea!
1. More pet storage
2. More pet storage
3. More pet storage
4. More pet storage
5. More pet storage
A MCH should get more then 16 slots to do all the trading, taming, selling and have a few for combat. It is simply way insufficient and the restictiveness is ruining the fun of being a MCH
Ok,
I know these have been said before, but just in case.
1) Give a command like Lay down, or sit, where your pet would actually regen it's ham. Like it's resting, and like characters do. Maybe not as fast, but somethign faster than being in the Data pad. Which could be used in the Empathy line, to make it more attractive.
2)Droid Storage.........no need to say much else.
3)Same as everyone else, and MCH needs to be more of a MASTER.
4)Allow "some" Higher lvl pets, but not like 3 rancors. Maybe 1 Rancor and a couple sludges, or something. You get the point.
5)Allow pets to EAT THE MEAT YOU HARVEST.........there is nothing more annoying than knowing you have meat in your inventory, but can't be fed to a pet...in stead you give it bugs, and melons...for a Panther..yep they're herbivors....arg.
Anyone seen the release notes on the new patch?

The ONLY issue they have addressed is the annoying delay in the radial menu call function when you open the datapad.
NOTHING ELSE was addressed.
In fact, they have gimped us further...
"Missions on advanced planets will now scale correctly based on character level."
Since they have not implemented a change to allow missions to scale based on your grouped pets, CHs will now no longer even be able to get high-paying missions by going to the more advanced planets.
VERTEXON, what are they DOING to us?!!!
1. Bring some variety back with the tamable creatures.
2. See above
3. See above
4. See above
5. The poofing and pathing stuff can get annoying.
I've just been a CH for a little while now so I don't know if I can come up with 5 but here goes:
- Put pet's current HAM levels in the datapad window. I'm not talking about the current maximums due to size, but the actual levels they are at from injury.
- Increase the max number of pet levels for Master CH. I understand that this needs to be balanced carefully, as sometimes less powerful creatures together are more than a match for a single, more powerful creature.Still, it seems that for someone who can control 3 pets, the difference between max pet level and max number of pet levels should be more than 10. I would suggest increasing the max number of pet levels at Training 3 from +5 to +10 (keeping Training in synch with Taming) and at Master from +15 to +20. That will give a total of max pet level 60 and max number of pet levels 80 at Master CH.
- Something needs to be done with the Empathy line. I wish I could give some suggestions here, but I really don't know what would fit. I'm thinking some commands along the lines of some of the Squad Leader abilities (but only working on your own pets, of course). Rally, maybe a burstrun that affects your pets so they can keep up, that kind of thing.
- This one may be a long shot
Let a pet recognize a command either with or without his name prefacing it. Example: you have 2 pets out, Fido and Fluffy. Both are trained to attack with the command "kill". You say "kill" and both attack, but if you say "Fido kill" only Fido attacks. - Can't think of anything else right now.
