we got the DE ring from there the other night, so i dont see why the CH one isnt there
woot, and congrats!
Nevermind what I posted earlier, this is all the proof I need. A second confirmation that one of those 3 items has been looted from this boss. Look at the friday feature that shows them, they are all listed together.

Yeah grats to you. I was restating the obvious point that had been brought up by other posters in this thread before me: With this mission, it doesn't help to have a creature handler along. And having one or two pets in the group wouldn't help either.
Are you here to say that in the multiple times you have been through Doombringer that you have looted the Creature Handler necklace? Or just that you have participated in fighting Doombringer? If you have looted it, please post a screenshot. If you're just bragging about the fight, well... thanks for sharing!
So the OP speaks again...how convenient that it was a "Jedi Correspondant" who looted it and that he just happened to tell you. I am still calling your bluff, I don't give a crap. Who cares what you guys looted in the past, and who cares who supposedly told you how to get it. I am on Bria, the largest server in the game, and all of the people I have talked to coming out of that place said nothing about the necklace. No one has been offering it for sale anywhere in the galaxy, and I get a million tells a day asking "did you find it yet?" I think if this "breaking news" was true, it would have spread like wildfire in the game, ESPECIALLY on Bria with how populated it is.
I will give you some small benefit, perhaps the "Jedi Correspondant" that so loved to spill secret info to just your select team was pulling your leg. Did you even see it with your own eyes? Probably not.
I still DO believe that it is a loot, but until this mystery correspondant comes to share this info withUS on the forums (with a screen), and not some small group of friends on TS (improbable), I won't believe that they made it drop randomly on this hard to get to guy in a hard to do quest. IMO we were better off believing that it WAS from the Cube...at least that way, we all had a chance...

if it drops from boss mobs like the DE ring, there must be an easier boss than doombringer?
I don't know...Doombringer kind of makes sense since he is in a way a CH himself, controlling the droids in the one room until you get to him.

Actually, you'd be suprised how well a Creature Handler aids the group in the instances. I've completed Doombringer four times now, and will probably for the fifth time tonight helping out someone else with the quest...no necklace so far though

so unless i happen to know seven jedi who can take me on this quest, multiple times until necklace drops, and then hope they let me loot it, i will never have this necklace. great.
Disagree...Out of the four groups I've been in that have completed the quest, the most Jedi we've had was 6, which was only once. The other times it was 4-5 with 3-4 non-Jedi toons. Don't get discouraged, think of it as achallenge...something that is very few and far between in this game.

I agree ... if this report is true, we have a quest for an item that can only be used by a Master CH but can only belooted by a squad of Jedi! This is definately not what I wanted to hear
Dekko,
What creature you use in your group? And if it's not too much of a secret, what specials does it have?
Having followed the discussion here, the diplomat in me wants to step in. I agree for the most part with Dekko. I think it should be a rare and unique item. But I also see the point of the other side. The sticking point, if I'm following the back and forth, is getting the actual group together. Because of this difficulty, it makes the necklace theoretically possible but practically speaking out of reach for many.
My sense is that the devs should, and still could, determine how long it should take to get the necklace and create a quest for it. Let's not fool ourselves...obtaining the necklace is just a matter of time invested, not skill. The only real hinderance is the gamey need to have a group. Building a trusted circle of friends or joining a guild for a profession that has largely been a solo profession takes weeks, if not months. Heck, on my server, I've only found one playercity that has a creature handler trainer! If that doesn't tell you something, lol.
If the devs designed a quest for CH that required the same sort of time investment that it takes currently, allowing for the number of times you might have to repeat Doombringer on average, I think we'd all be far better off. It could very well be the same challenge as it exists now--and I welcome the challenge--but is more in tune with the reality of the CH as a profession.
