Also, I get an Authentication Failed response when attempting to add other user's to my friends list. It also asks me to confirm the action as well.

Somehow, I doubt getting no results in a search for "jedi" on the Jedi forum is as designed...

Everyone's PA and server status is the same as mine. Apparently everyone is in Brothers of Aku and is from Radiant according to me. Oh and spell check doesn't work.

Submit and Preview Post in the non-WYSIWYG editor aren't working in Opera 8. New with the new forum version.
The first post on every page of a thread in the new layout does not appear in Opera 8. New in the new forum version.
The main forum page (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/) does not get any styling at all in Opera 7.54 or 8 saying it's Opera. Tell Opera to identify as IE or Mozilla and it appears fine. Been there since the switch to the new forum layout a month or so ago.
The forum software passes through unmatched greater-than and less-than symbols without turning them into HTML entities, which often screws up Opera's rendering of pages. (Try using two dashes and a shift-period to make a close-comment symbol and watch Opera eat everything before it. People never use arrows for things...) Been there for a very long time.
More as I find them.

Signatures are not centered correctly. While they remain centered, the width of them isn't 100% along the bottom of the message, it's only about 60% of the screen.
The sign in link at the top of the page brings up a pop up window that when you log in, it loads the forums in it instead of loading it on the main page. The sign up link on the right side of the forums does not do this, it loads correctly.
More as I come across them.

I cannot submit, preview, or edit as html posts using the default firefox setup. I am running firefox 1.0.3. I can switch the mode under User Agent Switcher to either netscape or opera compatibility, at which point I can submit and preview posts. However, in this mode the interface is very clumsy/cumbersom. Let me know if there's any other helpful information about my browser/system I could provide. |

Before when you clicked sign in it didn't bring up a pop up to sign in...now it does. Will it be changed back to how it was before?

*sniffle* You broke my stormtrooper *points down* And I can't fix him.. Unless fix the "not allowed to use simple html"...or maybe make the signature creation use a WYSIG(?) editor too.. |

Actually that part is not what I was referring to it may take a while for the search to reindex all 24 million or so posts

Is there a reason the Number of Users currently online was turned off? I really like that kinda of info.

Sorry, your search yielded no matching results: I get this constantly, even when looking for simple searches. Hmmm, when choosing "anytime (unsorted)" I do get results but only from 2003!! (I hope those 'changes to the search features' aren't 'as designed'!!)![]()
Try the advanced search mode for a more refined query: That line is redundant now.
The forums update has brought an entirely new search system to the forums. As such, all posts & content must be re-indexed. Re-indexing some 20 million messages takes time. For the next 24hrs or so, you may not receive any results for your searches. As the index builds it will gradually return more results. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The timing of the forum updates couldn't have been more inopportune given that a major game publish occurred the same day, preventing thousands of confused players from
peforming searches or even logging on at first...but anyway, I'm glad that the search engine is being changed, even if it isn't working at the moment. Constantly seeing "there are too many searches going on" every time I searched for something made me want to rip my hair out (but I refrained
).

Having trouble staying logged in between visits with Win XP SP2 and Firefox 1.0.3.
What I mean is, I have to sign in every time I visit the forums. It's not difficult, just annoying.

HTML formatting like coloring are not showing up properly when logged in. It all looks like plain text. Color and such is well almost normal when viewing the forums while not logged in.

The 10 most popular forums no longer show up on the front page. Wonder if that had anything to do with leading people right to forums filled with "hot" discussions on the CU?

When I attempt to load the site when I'm not logged in, it gives me strangely enough 'server cannot be found.' If I immediately try again, it loads the site. The SWG forum is the only site to show this behavior for me today.
