Thread: Tiggs, TH, where do you go when we need you?
They've given reasoning about the changes, far before these changes hit live. They are documented and have explanations behind them.
For as much complaining as I've seen, I have not seen many stories about people saying that the changes are giving them trouble. In fact, I seem to recall reading about a jedi on the jedi boards who killed a BH who came after him despite the snare.
What's happening is that people are flailing about and spending hours on the forums screaming instead of logging in to see how the changes actually effect them. The devs aren't going to respond to this screaming. If people came back with real experiences of being able to do "nothing" in the game, then they might respond. But right now, people are quitting because they think that they are worthless, not because they really are.

the problem is the same bugs get posted over and over and never get addressed....

Tiggs, TH, something you both (I think) did on the Beta forums that worked very well from my point of view was a post in the bug threads that went something like "All issues posted prior to now have been forwarded to the Development team."
If you could get authorization from the Powers That Be to do something like that in the threads that you gather issues from, it would reassure us that we are getting heard... a lot of the posts out there that I see are essentially "Why don't you acknowledge this???????" posts. Issuing posts such as the "All issues" I mentioned above would probably generate more posts along the lines of "Rock on!!!", mixed in with the inevitable "And what is the Development team going to do about it???" and "Pfft the Dev team doesn't care anyways." thatare likely impossible to avoid.
It's on the bug threads!

off topic a bit but the Dev chat was lame. Nothing about the ongoing nerf war against jedi or that wookiee keep getting f ed over in this game with the lack of good be clothing, what we can wear with robes or noth ebing able to wear new jedi robes.
Well if you were at the chat, you would've known the Topic of the HoC was Trials of Obi-Wan. So any discussion of Jedi or Wookiees not related to Trials of Obi-Wan wasn't relevant.
Heck I sent in a questions asking about any new Squad Leader-certed weapons, and the situation on Jedi lava suicide diving to escape BH's, but they didn't answer them.
I didn't take offense, why should you?
Remember, the chat is only an hour long and there are literally hundreds of questions submitted, so it's very likely they won't get around to your answer.

I'm betting 80%+ of the Jedi hating on the Snare changes were from Jedi who only read the Patch notes and assumed how bad it would be. I'm guessing VERY few of those Jedi who were complaining are actually TC Jedi who've felt the Snare Changes first-hand.
Actually I did post it in the bug thread yesterday morning (reply #37) and this morning when I went through the rest for my report.

No offense intended, but not yesterday it wasn't. Yesterday, publish day, when everyone's freaking out over the changes, you made a couple of posts on the bug thread in the morning about the servers being down and that was it. Seven pages, almost 200 posts, and almost 24-hours later, you posted the "these bugs have been passed along" message. I understand that publish days are very busy and tense for you, but they're tense for us too, especially when there are bugs and we can't get anyone to acknowledge them. I'm just pin-pointing aplace where just a little bit of work from you would help dispel the feeling that we're being ignored. Publish days are when we need the most communication, not the least.

Tiggs, I think a lot of the issuesin the gameat the moment could be ended with some communication and few fixes. So please address these issues for us all.
1. Lava Crystal - About 90% of the jedi community and 100% of the rp community hate it and never asked for it. I know a lot of work wet into this idea and the whole lava planet but it's out of place. Please Replace with a few of the named crystals the jedi have been asking for forever. I.E. Complete rebel get Kenobi's Legacy, complete imperial get mauls vengeance, complete neutral get quetecence of the force.
I will pass this on to the team.
2. New Snare and Avoid Incap changes have made 2 jedi master ability's useless are there plans to make these ability more useful again, or do you plan to replace them with something new, if it is something new what, please don't keep us hanging.
This was passed on to the team already.
3. Zip bars on powers need to go!!! If there are no plans to remove them now or ever please explain why and how it balances gameplay.
I will pass this on to the team.
4. Jedi have been asking for new robes for the better part of 6 months. Rather then toss us 2 cloaks with sub par stats that arn't worth getting besides for collecting, why not makes us happy and assign the old FRS robes to maser blocks. Give Knight robes to MLS, give master robes to enhancers ect. They don't even need better stats just something to help define our profession instead of the same old padawan robes. If you can't do this why?
I will pass this on to the team.
5. Force rank systeme we need an update last anyone heard you had finished a new idea and it ws submitted for approval from lucasarts. Did you see in beta the exceitment that the old frs brought back.I think most jedi would be happy to have that syteme back even broken, as it was content which is better then noithing at all, while we wait for the new systeme.
This is still being discussed.
Please Respond to our issues Tiggs
Thanks you,

Your still ignoring our concerns Tiggs, have u looked at the boards today? There is alot of unhappy people out there and I'm not just talking about the 13 year olds, Garva's post in the Jedi forums is a good place to start
Yes, we all have been hitting the boards and gathering feedback and bugs.

I think this is what we are looking for. Not just "all above bugs have been passed on to the team," but be more specific. State which bugs you were talking about, because sometimes people state things that are "issues" and other times it is something wrong with their computer's settings and graphics, and sometimes people just want to know that something they feel is a bug is being specifically acknowledged by you. If you had them gathered, then you could let us know what you had gathered from the thread in question.

A great thing that you did for a little bit was to keep a List Posted of Known Issues with their current status (Fixed, fixed internally, being worked, unknown) and the Teams's assessment of their level of priority.
THAT was awesome... and also helpful when considering reporting something, but not sure if it was already well known.
Sure it must take a lot of work on your part and all... but I know that I would appreciate it.

Omg thank you Tiggs! That second last post may not be a big update, but seeing you agknowlege these issues is hugely moral boosting. If you did those little posts in alot of the Jedi board threads you'd cool alot of heads.
lol the Jedi boards *shudders* Thats has been the most entertainment in like forever on here.
