Thread: Tiggs, TH, where do you go when we need you?
Well, I don't know much about your job, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think even a few "All bugs up to this point have been reported" posts would've gone a long way yesterday. When the forums catch fire and nobody on your end says anything, it really feels like nobody out there is listening -- or worse (from a customer relations viewpoint), that there's something seriously wrong going on behind the scenes that you can't tell us about. You don't have to address specific concerns (unless you know something about them), but just let us know you're alive, you're gathering the issues and listening to us and everything is under control.

Hello,
When we do a major publish to all Live servers, I am in the launchpad chat until all servers are up. At the same time we (TH and I)are gathering information from all over the message boards and passing it back to the team. Publish days and a few days there afterare ourbusiest days. We are working hard to make surethe player concerns are heard. Unfortunately due to all of this it can appear to you that those are the days we are doing the least amount of communicating =(
We will try to work on that and find a level ground so that the communication is flowing to the Devs and still to you the community.
just got back from being In-game and here's what i found out from a ticket i submitted yesterday about mission terminals being messed up.
We are aware that Mission terminals aren't working as intended. There is no quick fix for this problem. please close this ticket at your convenience. (ticket was closed already by the CSR big surprise)
Publish 24 = Jabba nerf & Death of Player Cities (except for planets with workin terms)
i'm gonna callthe psychic friends hotlineto find out what publish 25 will kill off.
When do you's plan to give feedback about our concerns about the recent SL change and the snare changes, you asked for our opinions, but so far you's have not had the decency to reply or at least give us your reasons for doing what you did and I mean a proper reason.

Lest we be duped into saying, "Aw, poor Tiggs." because she and others work so incredibly hard and don't get any credit let's take a different approach. What is actually being said is that if the Developers did their jobs with any level of competence the position in SOE which she and others occupy would be unnecesarry. If more resources were devoted to quality control these issues would not be occuring with the frequency and magnitude that they currently do and there would be little reason to have staff, or at least as much, to handle the multitude of problems which they must track.

Tiggs, TH, something you both (I think) did on the Beta forums that worked very well from my point of view was a post in the bug threads that went something like "All issues posted prior to now have been forwarded to the Development team."
If you could get authorization from the Powers That Be to do something like that in the threads that you gather issues from, it would reassure us that we are getting heard... a lot of the posts out there that I see are essentially "Why don't you acknowledge this???????" posts. Issuing posts such as the "All issues" I mentioned above would probably generate more posts along the lines of "Rock on!!!", mixed in with the inevitable "And what is the Development team going to do about it???" and "Pfft the Dev team doesn't care anyways." thatare likely impossible to avoid.
It's on the bug threads!
the problem is the same bugs get posted over and over and never get addressed....

No offense intended, but not yesterday it wasn't. Yesterday, publish day, when everyone's freaking out over the changes, you made a couple of posts on the bug thread in the morning about the servers being down and that was it. Seven pages, almost 200 posts, and almost 24-hours later, you posted the "these bugs have been passed along" message. I understand that publish days are very busy and tense for you, but they're tense for us too, especially when there are bugs and we can't get anyone to acknowledge them. I'm just pin-pointing aplace where just a little bit of work from you would help dispel the feeling that we're being ignored. Publish days are when we need the most communication, not the least.

Your still ignoring our concerns Tiggs, have u looked at the boards today? There is alot of unhappy people out there and I'm not just talking about the 13 year olds, Garva's post in the Jedi forums is a good place to start
