Ok...per advise received here....I'm using Dreamweaver to make my sig line. I've removed all the Styles statements. I'm able to reply to a message and copy this into the mody and it works fine....however I'm still getting the Simple HTML persmission error.

For those of us with Dreamweaver but who can't edit HTML anymore than we can Ancient Greek...or in my case I'm better at Ancient Greek actually....how do I use Dreamweaver to save the code in a way that Lithium will accept?

Wow, dreamweaver pooped out a lot of junk.

Lithium doesn't like your <DIV align=center></DIV> tags,

try replacing them with <CENTER></CENTER>

That way you'd be using the simple html that the forums like.

Correction:

The problem was with the nesting, not the tags themselves.

lol...if you think Dreamweaver is bad, have you seen Websphere? 30 lines of HTML for a new blank page.

And if you are desperate, you could use MS Word...only 25 lines of code for a new blank page.

You'll have to excuse me. I'm very new to the world of HTML. Could someone tell me what's wrong with the following signature. A brief explanation of what's wrong would be very nice too, then I'll know what to do in the future. Again, I know I'm gonna sound stupid... could someone tell me or point me to a link that would tell me how to make clickies?

Hmm, I suppose it was just the messed up dreamweaver nesting it didn't like then...

I don't think this is the best place for a tutorial in HTML. Kinda outside the scope of this forum. There are plenty of websites out there that can teach you basic HTML. Just remember that the Litium servers are extremely fussy about HTML and only allow the most basic tags (commands)

Check This for some tutorials/info on HTML
