Hello,

When we do a major publish to all Live servers, I am in the launchpad chat until all servers are up. At the same time we (TH and I)are gathering information from all over the message boards and passing it back to the team. Publish days and a few days there afterare ourbusiest days. We are working hard to make surethe player concerns are heard. Unfortunately due to all of this it can appear to you that those are the days we are doing the least amount of communicating =(

We will try to work on that and find a level ground so that the communication is flowing to the Devs and still to you the community.

Tiggs,

I'm sure you perform your job well and meet all expectations from your employer. The issue is if you're spending the hours cut&pasting the issues as they arise from a publish your should also be creating a secondary list to be compiled specifically to be presented to the gaming comunity.

Creating a secondary list to include information such as "The Communities Concerns with Publish-##" should be acknowledged as a valid attempt to support and regain the faith that most of your, being SOE's, consumers are loosing in a product. Communicating at this level with the player base is completely nescesary and is of an increasingly urgent matter. Reinerating these concerns which had been voiced by the consumers who were willing enough to spend their time in posting an idea, concern or topic which is being reported by you will assist in your position of CommunityRelations.

While we'rs not asking for you to list specific bugs or exploits which are going on we are, _AGAIN_, having to ask for proper and effective"communication" relating these issues.. Summarizing the concernsgives credit to the players toallow for an understanding thatthey are not being alienated which in turn will allow you to succeed in the greatest task incustomer service, "bridging". If you are unable to bridge the gap with your consumer base via effective communicationthe impact upon your product will continue to be dire regardless of other efforts made by the development staff to rectify their concerns.

With the latest rounds of fixes/adjustments/enhancements/nerfs I find this game lacking and more unenjoyable then before. I'm unsure if these issues were implemented in a fragmented form to be processed in phases and yet if this is the case there needs to be a more graduall process to enhance the gaming invironment while yeilding the ability to adjust these parameters after their feature has been added.

What comes to mind is a simple "how-not-to clean your bathroom" which details how cleaning chemicals are good although mixing all of them together in during the same process is bad.In fact, these exact chemicals have the ability to create some of the very same gases which were used in the killing of humans during WW1. Off on a tangent yet relevent in case.

We are asking you to act as a safegaurd on behalf of our community, our entertainment and our game which we have ejoyed playing.

Sincerely,

ME

With all due respect to Tiggs and TH what is really needed here is for Rogue_5 and the other designers of this publish to start a dialog about the changes that are controversial and explain why the feedback to date is somehow invalid. There have been post after post of well crafted and intelligently presented reasons why these changes are unblancing. There have been zero responses as to why this isn't the case. Its time to talk about it openly.

I was in the launch Pad Chat with 500+ other people and all we were getting was 'When the servers go up issue a ticket' replies from the CSR that were there and nothing from you. Sure your name was on the list but the was no evidence you were have a sleep.

As for taking are concerns to the development team maybe on some of the topics you could make a post saying concerns are being looked at. We dont know and quiet honestly dont believe that you have seen any posts that arent Tiggs trackers/toon. Maybe you could read some of the PM's we send I dont know if they told you but we know when you do and dont read a PM. I often send PMs to both you and TH at the same time, never the same topic never the same content but it helps me work out if lets say im being ignored or whether its just been a busy couple of days and its going to take longer. Guess what TH reads them and sometimes repliesyou dont. Oh except that time I put as the subject 'GREAT QUESTS' when it got read in 6 hours bit of a shame I then went on to say but why are you allowing Jedi to be ganked by BHwhile on these quests which ruins the fun. So I think I know why I didnt get a response.

BS...you knew what the issues were going to be before it ever hit live...WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING TEST CENTER IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THE TIME AND EVALUATE THE BUGS AND UNBALANCES AND FIX THEM BEFORE YOU PUSH TO LIVE...

Seriously...If I did that with the company I work for I would not be employed very long...Why can't you follow your own published dev cycle? You might as well delete the In Concept forum...its utterly worthless...you might as well delete IN DEV since you do not bother to address the bugs and unbalances that get reported...

This is the most discouraging thing about the process...

So many of us long-time players feel as if we are part of the community. We try to help others, we try to keep a level head, and we try to point out community-breaking, unbalancing issues. No matter how well we present facts and opinions, they are seemingly ALWAYS unanswered without reason. This makes us feel shunned and unimportant in the eyes of those that give us our hobby/pasttime.

You listened when the community was against the group-XP nerf but have not seemed to listen to the overewhelming negative response to these recent changes... I guess for me, I've lost faith in the game and producersI always seem to defend....

personally, im tired of hearing that. rolls off the dev tounges way too easy of late and yet we never see them talking about the game. is track this tip that. dammit enough of the relpies to the kissin rear posts already. LISTEN TO THE DAMN PLAYERS. ANSWER THE FRIGGIN QUESTIONS PUT TO YOU. this isnt your lil HoC "lets make everyone think things are all ok" chat sesions. here you have players who dont get thier questions filtered before you toss out pre fab answers.

Tell me why i should have ANY faith in what the DEV team has going on? tell me why i should have any faith your statement above will be followed through this time, and i dont mean for one or two days.

seriously, i made a comment in a reply to another post you made where you stated that the vision of the game was that of the DEVs. slip of tongue?

tired of the way we are being force fed what the DEV team "thinks" we need to play the game.

FIX THE GCW FIX PROFFESIONS FIX GAMEPLAY instead of slipping in nerfs all the time.

really tired and frustrated at the direction this game is heading

would love to see a year from now vision that the devs have for us, this way i could decide now just how much more i want to waste on here

and FYI this is STAR WARS stop making it into a clone of EQ and stop pushing groupin on us (or atleast increase the groups back to 15-20 range)

anyway be this deleted or never read, i said what i wanted to 9well as best as i could cus of filters)

have at it!

Tiggs, please pass some soothing words to some of us that are being beaten like a stepchild from these recent changes. Please tell us SOE isn't trying to remove us from the game by giving BHers the skills to have 15 Jedi kills in a row without even a risk or loss. Please tell me SOE doesn't mean for them to be single shot killing us with 8k dmg.

I think all these reply r good and i agree, but i think soe have decide to kill Jedi , because they r too many, so they found that all these snare r funny, but this isnt true.

All population never asked this.

Its impossible that some Jedi skills for example as:

-Mpower

-Mhealer

-Enancer

r so useless , only temp that work good is MLS Some Def tree some enancer tree(but not Menancer).

So i ask why? I someone choose Mpower MEnancer is died in 2 shot by BH and in pvp 1 vs 1 is suefull.

And Mhealer want to speak about this? only 4000 is good...

Only solutions r come back pre pub 9 where all jedi has all ability, but applied now with CU.

Come on 1 year and no fix/correction to power? Only nerf for it.

And Soe speak about is a funny game, anithing content and with 2 expansion at 30 $ and not free as many other Mmorpg.

Now ToW seem to be good but anithing some jedi correction r useless.

Other normal class with time found fix but after 2 years.

Tiggs , TH answer at these ask , please for the game and for all gamers that pay an boring game.

Thx for all

Tiggs, can we please have an update on the Smuggler content?

This is more important than ever since we are blocked out of ToO content by not being able to slice any weapons from that expansion.
