First off, you didn't dispute my argument which means you accept it as true. If you didn't accept it, you would have posted some sort of refutation. That's good. Makes me feel better.

Now that we have that out of the way...

Secondly, you gave up those hours of your time VOLUNTARILY. No one forced you to do it.

Third, you got PLEASURE out of doing that work. If you did not, you would have quit the position. You do not quit. Thus, you found pleasure in it.

I refute all of your assertions because they are backed up by nothing but your own ignorance of how things really work. If someone has been somewhere you haven't you might think about trying to learn from them instead of dismissing them as "not equal" and un fit to have a dialogue with. There is no other rational explanation to your position other than jealousy. Its misplaced anyway because it wouldn't help you in the slightest even if you were a current correspodent much less a former one.

As to the last part. I quit my correspondent position nearly a year ago. You seem to blur the lines between those who still serve and those who don't. The "Blue Glowie" title is an honary title given out of respect for the hours of service that correspondents put in in the service of th game and their fellow players. Yes I enjoyed my time as a correspondent. I would do it again. Ultimately I quit becasue I was getting burned out and was contemplating leaving the game. It turned out that I was re-energized by a number of things and continued to play the game.

More over, you turn to personal attacks instead of refuting the argument I have given in the above line. You call me ignorant and blah blah. My argument still holds.

Finally, you argued your post previous to this one that you had put in "1000's of hours of work" and how grueling it was to serve the community. When I point out that you did it voluntarily and enjoyed it, you quickly change your story to match mine.

You're just playing little games with arguments. Call me this name. Change this statement here so it doesn't seem like I was wrong.

My assertion still holds, no matter the things you have said. We're not equal. Don't lecture me on dev communication.

He did. But if you want to compare roles you would have to go to Rogue5 who holds a simular position now. Tiggs is handicapped by the fact that she doesn't have the answers to the questions. Raph could talk to the players about the game in depth because he was part of the decision making process. Tigg's and TH's role is to communicate between the Development Team and the Community. Now you can fault them for how they do that but you can't expect them to have the same answers that the Creative Director of SWG would have. They can only give us the answers that the Producers have given them and allowed them to share with us. The blame for the communication breakdown falls on the producers lack of adhearance to their own policy of a Development process flow that includes In Concept which they use only when it suits their purposes and NEVER for controversial changes to the game engine.

I hate it when correspondents (or former ones) try to tell me how the different jobs of community relations work. They try to explain to me how the different jobs are either succeeding or failing at their objective.

YOU GET TO READ THE DEVELOPMENT BOARDS!!! THE WAY YOU SEE COMMUNITY RELATIONS IS TAINTED!!! YOU ARE NOT LIKE THE REST OF US!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE LEFT IN THE DARK!!! DON'T TELL ME, "I WAS ONCE LIKE YOU." YOU ARE NOT LIKE ME NOW AND NEVER CAN BE AGAIN. I PUT THIS IN CAPLOCKS SO YOU WILL GET IT THROUGH YOUR SKULL. WE GET SNIPPETS OF INFORMATION. YOU HAVE DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM.

You corespondents (and former ones) sit back and explain how everything is fine. If I got to look at the damn development forums, I might think the same. Don't try to lecture me on how I feel about feedback when you get special privledges. Try being nerfed sometime with no line of communication to the devlopment team.

You are not like us. Don't assume you can lecture us.

There is nothing keeping the producers from communicating more now. Your idea if it is anything more than sarcasm for effect would just result in less communication not more. The only thing that can raise the level of quality communication from the producers of the game is for them to decide to do it. It isn't like Tiggs or TH are preventing the producers from posting here.
