When you hold a title of director in anything you are and are expected to be held personally accountable for all things that happen in your department.

Tiggs is not above this accountablity in any way. She works for a muli-million dollar company and such responsibility is implied.

Bottom line, if communication to the player base is less than we demand/expect, then she is the one that needs to feel the heat.

Its no different than anyone else in a leadership role.

Holocron was better? At being Creative Director of SWG? Tiggs is the Director of Community Relations. What are we comparing here?

What you seem to fail to realise is that Tiggs is not new to CS, once a player in UO, then onto a UO councellor, then team lead and so on and so forth.

Many many years ago, I too was a "smurf" in UO.

You can take it from someone who has first hand experience, that when I tell you..Tiggs is a brown-nosing cheerleader, whos only interest is herself and ingratiating herself with the management of whatever company she has feigned loyalty to this week..that its the truth.

She has no interest in "the community" only in doing as shes told, while leading the cheers of how wonderful everything is. As such she's doing her job to absolute perfection.

Yeah I know she is but still it just makes me feel bad for her when everyone is always like "God I hate Tiggs so much she needs to be fired shes a terrible person" and all that stuff, I mean, how would you, or anyone feel if everyone was saying that to about you

I think what he ment was that holocron talked to us on these boards. Shared ideas and communicated.

The inability to remember what Holocron did, not to mention the calls for his head on a platter, bears a remarkable similarity to the nostalgia about the game before the CU. People can't seem to remember the year and a half of "this game is so broken it needs to be totally revamped" posts that went on. Reminds me of the South Park Episode where Cartman has the musical rememberance of 3rd grade...

Same here. She hasnt changed much has she.

Well, okay, I guess no one really cares what I say or if I feel bad about how most people treat her but I feel bad about it because I wouldn't want people to be hating me, it would be really discouraging.

He did. But if you want to compare roles you would have to go to Rogue5 who holds a simular position now. Tiggs is handicapped by the fact that she doesn't have the answers to the questions. Raph could talk to the players about the game in depth because he was part of the decision making process. Tigg's and TH's role is to communicate between the Development Team and the Community. Now you can fault them for how they do that but you can't expect them to have the same answers that the Creative Director of SWG would have. They can only give us the answers that the Producers have given them and allowed them to share with us. The blame for the communication breakdown falls on the producers lack of adhearance to their own policy of a Development process flow that includes In Concept which they use only when it suits their purposes and NEVER for controversial changes to the game engine.

I dont personally hate her. I think alot of what she does and how she portrayed herself both here and there is what has gone a long way to make people not believe too much of what she says(types). I would also watch my back when dealing directly with her too, learned that one the hard way.
