This new layout isBantha foddedif you ask me. If this were an optional new layout that we could choose to use or not use, that would be one thing. But being forced to used this new layout is a very big kick in the face to those of us who liked the old style. Im gonna share a little saying I heard several times in my life..."If its not broken, dont fix it". I used to love being on the forums, but having to relearn/reconfigure a whole new layout is just rediculous, especially considering the amount of time I spent getting the old layout just the way I wanted it. Im afraid my forum browsing days are officially over.

I like the new layout, makes everything seem more accesible. Only bad part is that is doesn't show all the galaxies on the main page. Otherwise, I give it an overall thumbs up.

make it so that we can choose what specific boards show up. Like

I liked the old way how it was. This way is confusing and it hurts my eyes. Pleaseeeeeeee put it back. (And if you aren't going to, can we at least have an option to hide the friends list and our profile? And the "top boards" for that matter.)

I like it. However I would like it to be MORE customizable. For example I would like to be able to choose which galaxies, professions etc are displayed in the appropriate sections.

It's cool, I like it... however yes, a little customization option or a rerrangement would be nice.

The boards should be listed like this:
1|6
2|7
3|8
4|9
5|10
Instead of how they are. It is a pain to find board no.
Also bookmarks shold be moved to the top.

I hate it.
I liked seeing the newest post in the forums listed on the main forum page. Now I have to look in that particular forum to see any posts at all. This is especially important with regards to the DEV announcements. I want to be able to look at them from the main page.
I want my bookmarks back at the TOP of the page, now they are way down at the very BOTTOM.
I have no use for the "Top Boards" section.
How to make it better (if we HAVE to keep it):
- Move My Bookmarks and My Subscriptions to somewhere at the top of the page.
- Allow us to choose which boards are shown in the categories that are too big to fit all boards in that category (Professions, Galaxies & Galaxy Trade)
- Replace "Top Boards" with newest posts of the boards shown on the main page... or something else that's more useful.

Ok.. after using it for a while.. there's some things I like
- being able to see the most popular forums
- having the forum search "right there"
and some things I absolutely hate
- having to actually click on the forum to see the latest topic
(in particular - the dev related forums): the removal of the clickable thread title (that more often than not, related to the "news" of the post. ie: swg patch notes : update notes for patch xxx.xxxx (I really liked being able to just open up the forums the old way, and quickly scan the page for new posts in the game updates part of the board, now, I have to click each forum to see if there is a new thread, and then click the thread itself.. (it's like 3x as many clicks - are you in league with the mouse manufacturers or what)
- areas of the forums that have many boards (ie: professions, trade forums) seemingly random forums are chosen for display. If I could pick what forums are displayed on the 'homepage' (ie: customize it) it wouldn't be so bad, but it's still more cumbersome than the previous version imo.
The ability to scroll through the forum list and quickly assess whether you need to read threads in certain boards at a glance - rather than spending the time to click into each individual forum - was a godsend, now that it's gone.. it sucks
if I could customize it to look like:
GAME UPDATES latest topic poster name header of topic forum activity
[ x ] In Live Focus - Movement Thunderheart ...movement was mak... ( 65 )
[ x ] SWG Patch Notes publish 0.1167 notes Tiggs...improved server ... ( 2 )
[ x ] In Development CU Update YourMom...we need document... ( 130 )

but right now.. I would say it is a worse layout, and a waste of bandwidth.
