This new layout definitely rocks. It's now compact and rational. I like this concept :>

The new format is terrible. I can't find anything that I had set up previouslyor even see the most recentthread in a given forum. Please put it back the way it was or at least give us the option of using the old format. By the way, plaese tell Lithium to make their service more reliable during peak hours - like noon and 5 pm rather than wasting time on these cosmetic "improvements" that actualy make the site harder to navigate.

After messing around with the "options" on mt Preferences page:
- You can only see the "Most Recent Post" for the importand forums if you have it in "Verbose" mode. Otherwise, they only show up in the "Top Boards" section, when does not contain anything that really interests me. Would like to be able to see the "Most Recent Post" in a forum in "Compact" mode.
- Even in "Verbose" mode, the links to the newest threads are small and hard to see... I had to go to Edit and Select All in order to be able to read them. Make them a brighter color at least.
- Get rid of the "Top Boards" section.
- Move My Bookmarks and My Subscriptions to somewhere at the top of the page.
- Allow me to SORT the listings in each section. Right now, they are in no discernable order... which makes it hard to FIND things!
- I have no interest in the users online unless they are in my Friends list... get rid of it or put it back at the bottom of the page where it used to be.

It's not layout that is flawed. The design is perfect... It has a certain degree of flow. As for what is ON IT in the first page = bad... I would like to control exactly what I see... instead of random links to boards/galaxy trades. I would like to customize the layout to my liking to have the links to boards I use the most. For instance:
I have 2 Toons on Bloodfin, 1 on Chilastra, 1 on Bria, 1 on Flurry, and 1 on Tempest. Why would I need to view boards that I have no character on?
Furthermore for Galaxy Trade... Again, the same argument as above... Why would I need to see the board for Infinity-European if I don't have a character there?
Remove the Recent Users... NOT Useful enough to have on the site at all. Notes should be labeled as PM's or Messages.
Friends List = GREAT IDEA
Dev Tracker is easily seen (red and near the top right)
Admin Tracker ++++++ Super Bonus... I really like to know what the Admin's are reading and posting to.
Seeing the account information you are logged into is good too! I use to Bookmark myself on the Tracker so I could see exactly the messages I last made and the responses that have happened.
Great Idea posting Announcements on the Top RIGHT, since that's the first place I look to see if I have PM's.
Great job, just needs a bit more tweaking.

I must say that, despite my earlier post of how I liked the new layout, I do miss it that with the previous layout you could see what the latestmessage postedwas for every board...
That was damn handy, especially with new publishs announcements. Now I have to check theboard everytime, not knowing what I'll find

Yes, it is definetly a miss, not being able to see what the last post is... I used to just scroll down and read the forums whose last posts had interesting titles... Now I just don't know where to start...
I guess I'll get used to it eventually but right now it feels as if my wings have been clipped. Perhaps this feature could be reinstated? It would go a long way towards informtion accessability I think.

Yes, definetly a miss... I used to visit other boards than my regulars because Icould see all the board's latest posts. I'm not going to check every single board for that now with this new layout. I feel really cut off a bit...
Isn't it possible to make a seperate skin which usesthe old layout? Please?

It's a nice layout but I wish the modules could be prioritized or moved as some areas i'd prefer to be at the top of the page rather than at the bottom or right side versus left side. If this was an option that could be added to the user options I'd be very happy with this but right now it's a little more bothersome for me to navigate around.For themost part i have my book marks for where i need to go first and it was nicer for me personally to keep them up near the top to access instantly.

Think they can fix the broken "to many searchs in process" search sytem?
Or that some peoples sigs don't show the whole sig in IE but it will on firefox?

I LOVE IT!!!! Being able to see friends list is GREAT! (I added all the devs to it and now I can see when they are online)

In summary - YUCK!
Why? Because nothing is customizable the way it should be.
I can't reorder stuff on the screen, shut off portlets that I don't care about, and *my* bookmarks - those things that are my personal content - are hidden at the very bottom of the screen.
Add the ability to customize it and I'm sold. Aside from that I'll be managing bookmarks to the forums I care about in my browser and I'll only use this dog on the odd occasion that I visit a strange board.
As it is now, 90% of what's there isn't for me.
