Thread: Commandos Demand: Petition for Assault Rifle (New Weapon) Give us something back!
I will sign this - sounds good and would drastically help elimiate wannabe Commandos that created a problem for real Commandos in the in the first place.

I have no issues with a primary weapons shift, if Commando is made to be what it is supposed to be - maybe, not to take away from the starting post, if Commando shifts to a different primary weapons we can have Flame DoT back and make the Thrower a Consumable with 50 - 100 shots, and all the nuances that won't be a problem like we currently face with consumables.

Or better stilll - that we get an Assualt Rifle (Carbine) and the Weapon we see the ARC use in Star Wars II, in addition to the LP.

Just one thing everyone. Baby steps, we need to work with what we have currently, before trying for major changes. The development time on something like this is huge; so it's not feasible with the rest of our profession needing help. Now with that said: I would LOVE to see the E-Web or an Assault Rifle added, laying down supression fire, base defense, etc. *Being a Correspondant I know dream Commando lol* This is defiently something for the future, and I have brought this up several times, to let you guys know.
So for now let's work with what we have... but don't leave this behind for the future either. When I get more computer time I'll start a thread about ideas for an Assault Rifle, just something to kick around, and when we have a solid idea *I mean 100% solid* I'll brind it up again. But remember this would take time to get added: New Art, New Database, New Coding, New Skill Tree, New Testing, etc. So don't let the idea die... just realise the timeframe we would have to work within on this.

All of these were adjustments of existing items in the game, hence less time needed for fixes (or in the case of the FWG5, removing the powerhandler). I started a thread for doable fixes if you want to kick ideas around there.

Enough is enough with these weapons. This is Star Wars, not the Alien saga. Has anyone seen Flamethrowers or Acid rifles inthe movies? Get rid of them and get us Star Wars weapons.
Flamethower. Hah! Acid Rifle. Hah! A commando craves not these things.
