Ok....here's my thoughts on what I'd like to see commando's get....
1. Remove the long reuse timer on grenades, make it a 10 sec delay before you can toss another one. Or better yet, have the timer decrease as you progress in commando to 10 sec at master.
2. Increase the range on the Plasma FT. Why is it only 25m when the standard FT is 40m?
3. Boost the damage on our PBC, ASL, LBC and RL. Especially the RL.
4. Get rid of the UA4 pre-req and make master marksmen our pre-req.
5. Allow commando's to create and use demolition charges. They could be made from current WS produced grenades and a component that master commando's can make.
6. Add some form of Assault Rifle to commando's, make it a L54 master commando cert. Something along the lines of the DC-17, underslung carbine, A-280 blaster rifle, etc.
7. Give us a reloadable grenade launcher, where you load grenades and it boosts the range to 65m. Again, make it a master commando cert.
8. Add something along the lines of an Eweb for master commando's. And before you say it's not possible, read Mr Blackman's weapons and technology book about the T-21. It's supposed to have a power pack, and it's not a rifle, it's a light repeating blaster. So it's feasable to see then that the dev's could add something similar to an Eweb for commando's.
9. Give commando's some special abilities all their own. A stealth mode similar to force cloak and cover could be useful. Bring back Flame single and Flame cone, but make them generic so that they apply tothe FT, the HAR,and any future non-consumable weapon.
10. Put rockets and the like back to their old animations.Add are-use timer of 5 seconds to the RL, PBC, LBC,Acid Beam to simulate reloading/recharging.
11. Give commando's the ability to place stand alone landmines and the ability to findsaid mines in the open battle field.
12. Add an ability to the Master commando box that generates an EMP pulse and blacks out an enemies radar for 30 seconds. Make it only usable once every 10 minutes or so.
If you wannaknow what a commando's arsenal should include, go rent a copy of "Commando" with the Governator. Pay close attention to his selection of weapons.
My ideas (even though im only 0/0/0/1)
1. Specials
2. Heavy weapons that can actually kill something
3. machine gun
4. a slugthrower like an M4 or M16 or something like that. (a first person view with that would be awesome)
5. tank
My wishlist for Commando
1. Theability tofire the Proton Rifle
2. Fix the grenade timers ( Does it really take that much time to recover from throwing a grenade?)
3. Fix the elemental Damage
4. Fix our weapon damage
Thats about all I have, if these 4 items get fixed I can live with the rest of the bugs we have right now

just some things I'd like to see personally, commandos are strong, and it should be reflected. Not saying equivalance of a teras kasi but it does take an extra 15 points to be a Commando as to a TK and it does require unarmed I-IV, so it would be a slight shove in the right direction if we just recieved just a few specials that reflected that, in a "commando" manner.

I always wanted an assault weapon like this... Oh wait, there is one; they gave it to bounty hunters.
The proton rifle looks good on commando, but it's still not quite the assault weapon we've always wanted.
Even the underslung carbine won't be it. A friend of mine dug up a Star Wars book that showed a size comparison of weapons in the Star Wars universe, and the underslung carbine is roughly the size of an E-11, most commonly used by outlaws (smugglers).
I want the proton rifle fixed, and I want a *real* soldier's assault weapon for us, like a carbine. It doesn't need to be an overly powerful gun, mid-level damage would be fine as long as it has a high rate of fire. For the moment, I use an elite carbine as my assault weapon.
A grenade launcher would be hella nice, too. Refire rate is half the time it takes to physically throw a grenade, maybe less.
