Yeah its all good LordS. Just meant defenses like status effect and melee/ranged defense and we have no block/dodge/counter which is strange seeing as we are the only ranged profession with a brawler pre-req that we have one of the lowest statuse effect defense and 3rd lowest melee/ranged defense.

What role do the developers see the Commandos playing within the whole of SWG? *This will give us an idea of where you see us stand, so we can show our view in response to that, and find a true placement of our profession* This also includes addressing how we fit, considering that we spend more skill points *around twice as much* as Elite Professions, yet have less of a DPS. *In other words we have few Defense Mods, no healing capabilities, no crafting abilities either. What future role do you see us having; seeing as our Point Cost is greater while we reamain outdamaged*

I think this gives TH too much room to "word dance" and be ambigious. As shown from prior experience, if we present this opportunity, he will take it. I would reword it as follows:

a.) What role do the developers see the Commandos playing within the whole of SWG? *This will give us an idea of where you see us stand, so we can show our view in response to that, and find a true placement of our profession* Although we spend *around twice as many*skill points as other Elite Professions,we have less of a DPS. In other words we have few Defense Mods, no healing capabilities, and no crafting abilities, but do equal or less damage than most other combat classes (especially with the changes to the flame dot).Do you see commandos as having a combat advantage over other classes, [we NEED to ask this directly] what is the advantage, andwhat future role do you see us having seeingthat our Point Cost is greater than other elite professions? Simply stated...what are we getting for our extra skill point investment?

b.) With the above, there has been a lot of talk about Commandos and AT-ST's, AT-AT's, and Turrets. What role do you see Commando playing in the overall sense, because currently *approximatly* 25% of players are in the GCW, and more needs to be addressed on our PvE role.

Again....a little too much room to dance in my opinion... Try this:

With the above, there has been a lot of talk that Commandos' role in the game is theAT-ST, AT-AT, and Turret killers. Due to the fact that currently approximately 25% or less of players are factioned and participating in the GCW, what general role do you see Commando playing in PvE and non-base-raid situations?

I still say yes/no questions is the way to go. you got to treat the devs like 'special' kids, else you get retarded responses from them.

'But why is Fantasia dying then?'
'Because people have begun to loose their hopes and forget their dreams. So the nothing grows stronger. It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair, destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.'
'But why?'
'Because people who have no hopes are easy to control. And whoever has control has the power'

my 10 questions:

1) Will you listen to us?

2) Will you listen to us?

...

...

10) Will you listen to us?

Devs, feel free to answer any of our questions. We would be delighted to hear a response with something positive, like "Hey guys! Great news! We just decided to give you something!" That would be music to our ears

Looks good LordS.

I will refrain from any comments, as my faith in the devs are completely gone.

After becomming a MCommando/TKA(0-1-2-2)...I havent touched my commando weapons since getting TKA....I guess I just did a wrong choice on a suplement profession to MCommando..

If being happy means immediate results, I fear you are correct. However, I have every impression that the developers want to do what's right for Player Associations, and rely heavily on our suggestions when they are ready to begin development.

Many of our original Top 5 issues have already been resolved. The thing that is different about Player Associations is you can tweak things more easily without unbalancing combat, professions, or the economy. It is just a matter of scheduling the time to get itdone when there are other tricky issues that also need attention.

err....after reading that...its not imediat results im talking about.....this game has been live what....6 months? and NOTHING has been done for one of my classes.we have had the same top 10 for 6 months.then the top 5 nothing...we ask why....get a bunch of "we are looking into it" or "combat pass" or "i have 20 bla's to work on and it takes time" ...meanwhile tka's comandos' etc...get full page "this is whats happing" with full and compleat lists detailing what is goin into there profession...weather it makes it to live or not.

i know im just bitter.but honestly....the profession hasnt even been touched sence lounch.

i perticapte in thies forums and i post alot....but this "10 questions" are a joke.thunderheart is becomming a joke.....i mean com on...the man sad that pikeman is a hybried profession.

no....the issues facing PS's do effect me and i read every thing here oftion....but maninly im just upset that pikemen got what has to be one of the most lamest responces to the "10 questions" i have ever heard.

so...no...talk is cheep here...they will just spit out some jargion in the hopes that they confuse you or misslead you fpr another mounth so you will "hold out for the changes".

didnt mean to turn this int0 a rant......but i think your hiding behind your faith that they realy listen to people..you will ask your questions...and you wont be happy.....they wont give you answers....you will get questions back at you.Thunderheart is here to keep us bussey doing essays.

but i hope im wrong.....your points about this not being unbalancing is true.

8. Would adding a very nominal ammount of storage to PA Halls (say, 50, even justfor decorative purposes) be considered unbalancing?

I think the storage should be the amount for all of the lots used or at least 400 ..........

Come on, PA halls are supposed to be social hubs and community spaces, currently you can place decorations, but that's about it. The fact that they take up 7-9 Lots, and that they can hold 250 items is kind of silly. 8( Please up the storage alotment 8).

I for one would love to see the E-Web. If they could move the HAR into the Flamethrower Tree, the spare tree could be used for a few specials for the Launcher Pistol and a couple of defensive fighting moves, but also a couple of new weapons.

I would like to see:

A Cold weapon for Commando. Possibly working in the same way as the FT/HAR now. Anyone remember the Carbonite Rifle in Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith?

E-Web. Either the tripod version, or a stripped down man-portable version. It's perfect for us.

Stouker Concussion Rifle. Best non-lightsaber weapon in Jedi Academy. Hell, if they're giving Riflemen the DXR-6 Disruptor Rifle (It's on TC already), and pistoleers are after the Bryar pistol, we should get the Concussion Rifle, right?

As for the DXR-6 thing, does anyone else think that it's royally taking the piss that Riflemen get a working Acid rifle before we do?
