Aren't all professions being used to grind FSxp. I believe there is a NPC that converts "all" xp into force xp. Lets not kid ourselves here every profession leads to Jedi now so people will be using any means necessary to get there and do it as fast as they can. Grenades just happen to speed up the process.

Get some grenades with a dmg radius that is below the ideal.

Romolo Karminov - Wanderhome - RGU - All around Badass.

Tariel - Bloodfin - nWo - Brainsmasher.

Arias - Valcyn - The Wanderer.

damage radius is (surprise!) the radius around where the grenade hits that things get damaged.

To not take damage, do not be within the radius, hence the idea to get grenades with less than ideal radius.

I never have any problems. Buy some composite (blast protection) and get buffed... just like any other profession or grind. I use Imp's and Therm dets and use ahriss and brandy... no HAM costs, no significant damage. There is no real trick to them....

Be prepared.

Get buffed, get ahrisa and brandy, and a set (or at least 4-5 major pieces) of comp armor.

Throw away!!

I don't think it is possible to avoid beingf hit by your own grenades, no matter the blast radius. When you start attacking the lair the creatures will start attacking you from point blank (well if they are not using ranged attacks).

Blast radius can not be experimented on, howeveer the ideal range can be increased. But that is of no importance since you would target the lair anyway and always hit.
