Right now Im sticking with the melee path of grinding FS,but just incase I want to do commando 4/0/0/0 How much approx would it cost me in grenades to fill up 6 branches?

Well, if you buy10-12 crates of grenades that come with 25 grenades, for about 100-150k a crate (depending on which server your on and the deals you can get). You can get about 1 branch for every 10-12 crates. So, thats 6 branches for about 6-9 mil. That doesn't include the armor that you will have to buy because grenades kick the crap out of armor, and you might want tobuy the power ups that increase your grenade damage about 700 hp. So it does take some money involved when doing the FS grind with 4/x/x/x Commando. In the endI would say if you can afford it,do it, because it is way faster then using a melee profession.
Edit: changed the 1-1.5 mil per crate to 100-150k per crate.

It all depends on how many credits you have, if you have alot of credits then you will probably pay more for grenades then others who have less.

Please do tell what is the secret with 'nades. You say it grinds faster, why?
BTW I just got serious about FS grinding today.

easy, nades give combat xp which you can convert at a ratio of 3:1 fs xp. Regualr weapons xp is 30:1 fs xp

after i got my grind template set...commado 4xxx and tkm i went shopping
60 x 25 imp dets , 150 x 10 grenade power ups, 3 suits of light ham comp armour with 70 base, sliced the armour......
should give me enought gear to do the lot, total spend so far5mill (got a nice deal on the naids)

Ok made my choice,Im going to do the grenade way scnice I will just bank up the xp and wile im waiting for the phase to change I will hunt jedi on my bounty hunter. Thanks guys!

On FarStar I know a vendor which sells Thermal detonator crates for 50k/crate

Im sorry guys that 1-1.5 mil per crate is a typo. What i meant to say was 1-1.5 mil per 10-12 crates.
