Heck,
I'm picking up the Grenades line post-CURB just to hang in the Commando Forum with all you guysand Garvin / StarNick. After (RP) killing off Garvin on TC, then reviving him...I realized the people in this forum are tight-knit and have a great sense of humor.
P.S. I tried to kill off Mandkind00 (TK Corr.) and realized monks don't have much of a sense of humor. (in general)

I just wanna say how close us commandos were to the armorsmiths. FOr are 2 Year long nerfed profession still glimied on the battefeild with the shinest armor with the highest ham but the best defence. we where attached to are armor it was bought as quick as it was destroyed not bc it was a bad as but because well us commando tend to get in over our heads =P but anyways i say we make a tribute to one of the lost fighters for the good of SWG
Okram is a brother in this fourm as well as he was in his own. it should be known

The armorsmiths have basically declared war on the devs!!!!
The devs have been asking for it for 2 years now. Skating on that pond that had such thin ice that any sane person would stay away from. And now, something finally snapped. The ice is cracking, and the devs are falling in. The great thaw is coming.
If this is anywhere near as big as it looks like, no one will remain neutral in it. It'll draw in people from every profession, every galaxy. People sick of the devs promising things and then denying it, ignoring the player base, trying to make the game THIERS, not OURS. There are some devs who were, and some who are, good at what they do. Helios, is an example. But for some reason I don't think Helios can do much to stop this.
Let the devs know,
THE WAR IS ON!

That depends. If it gets nothing done, then yeah. If being melodramatic somehow in someway gets their attention or causes people to wake the f*ck up and look at the situation for what it is...then no.
Question: if you saw a woman being raped in an alleyway, would you do anything about it? Call the cops? Or defend the poor woman yourself, perhaps? Well this IS that situation. SWG is being brutally assaulted and raped. Devs are the rapists, and the Correspondant police are being held at gunpoint. What does that leave us with?
So whats it gonna be? Stand by as its brutalized, or actually TRY and get something done?! I applaud the AS correspondant and wish that the players without blue-glowie status could actually be heard so we could give the devs hell. Melodramatic or not.

Sometimes when you KNOW something to be wrong and aren't being listened to you have to resort to desparate measures to be heard. I think the AS correspondent just got to the end of his tether and felt he had to do something. I think many of us are getting to that stage with this level-based combat system too. I'm not normally vocal about anything and I'm pretty easy going, but I've tried this CU, I'm an alaytical person and I can see through the bugs and the bits that will be put right, but I can see that the fundamentals of the level-based system are totally inappropriate for this game.

Yeah, I'm being melodramatic. 
But what's happening in the Armorsmith forums is spreading. People are slowly beginning to riot. I can't see the revolt (yes, it was a revolt) in the AS forum being an isolated event.
Now what would be really cool is if everyone came together and started posting anti-CU stuff all over the place. They'd have to ban us to stop us, and if practically everyone did it, they couldn't ban us.
I'm beyond mad.
I'm beyond simply being "mature" and sitting back and watching as the devs butcher the game I've spent over a year playing.

Commandos Revolt/Riot........lol even if we are Revolting, we are a strong Group of Brothers. We have been at the bottom of the porta potty with broken stuff any loving is good...alos we get a kiss too. Others may have problems with the CU that is fine and dandy. As for me I liked what I saw in TC5....lol was not on for a few and the updates now are bad, I wait to see more here.
