"Join a server, play until you master commando, and then you'll see what we mean...

Pikeman and Carbineer may be ignored, but Commandos are just plain hated by the devs..

And you cried over the nerf? Your a dev, you helped the nerf!"

Truthfully, I started the game as a Bounty Hunter which took me 4 months to master (playing casually) and I have been able to master Commando in one week. /singleflame2 is now doing 10K worth of damage while leaving a DOT (Krayt LLC would only pull about 7K and no DOT), Acid rifle sucks, a good Launcher will do the same damage as a Scatter plus Commando has a variety of Heavy Weapons (though I'm really sure why any would use them other than more range). I know that every profession needs work in the game, but truthfully, after wading through the Hell that is Bounty Hunter, I have been fairly impressed with Commando's abilities.

And that's fine, but why keep adding new content before the current content is fixed? It just doesn't make sense even considering that some of the new content also comes out broken.

But we lurk like crazy. We do read what is going on, and understand how you feel. I really wish we had the time to communicate with everyone. But we do not.

Lol, wow now that's the bluntest answer I've ever seen on any forum. Hats off to JustG for having the brass set and/or loss of sanity to post that.

Hang in there man...

"The pecking order should be roughly even. The exceptions are that master professions that take more skill points should get a bit more of an edge as a reward for the additional investment."

JustG -

what does this mean for combat oriented hybrid professions, particularly Commando and Bounty Hunter?

What kind of edge are we supposed to have?

By the way, I love seeing posts like yours.

They go a LONG way to humanize the devs in our minds.

That's nothing, wait until they introduce a new profession (Droid Commander), break it, and then tell people playing it to wait months for a fix because they have all their resources working on the Space Expansion and other broken professions.

Introduce Space Expansion, rinse & repeat ....

Actually, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the dev's scraped the idea for Droid Handlers...And they did this at the request of the DE forum members...

That's what proves the Dev's can listen to what we have to say...and JustG just proved he is hearing us by restating what we've been saying to them over and over...

This is just bad management....why not simply fix a few things in each proffession each month to keep people happy. I mean....come-on ...how hard is it to speed up the acid rifle..it cant take more than a hour to code that in can it? Your priorities are all wrong, forget new dungeons, forget imperial crackdowns...whats the point if the core element of the game has been bugged from day one? For a SWG SOE employee to make a post like that is very undermining to the players of SWG.

Again ...so they took the time to nerf the DOT on the flamer....why didnt someone fix the acid rifle while they were doing this, or fix a few other little things.....its common sense, keep the players happy. If your going to nerf something, fix something as well. maybe all SWG SOE need to go on a customer care course, because you have a funny way of going about things.

I love commandos... I ground my way up to Master the old-fashioned way on Ahazi, and play one to this day. I cried when we nerf'ed the DOT's, but I think it was right for the game.

I ask for your patience. When will we get around to answering the questions? I honestly can't say for sure. I am sorry. But we are listening. Your correspondent is the numberone way into our plans.Thanks.
