Great! Now what to use with those extra skill points if I come back....can't ya tell i'm bored? but I keep checking in....
I have to admit that a lot of the changes are very scary and new, being around since week 1, but the idea of a double master in BH and Commando makes me feel very happy. I am currently BH 4040 and commando 0040 so a double master sounds awesome to me.

Hey guys,
Just read the CU article, and I'm pretty f*cking pumped! If we can do master commando/master BH, so many jedi are going to die my friends!
If I read it right, we'll all have 3000 health by the time we finish professions? No more buffing? That's pretty goddamn tight in my book. Boys, this is gonna be so f*cking elite! Revenge of the commandos! YeeeeeaaaahhH!
I will be a little sad giving up master marksman though, I kind of like that. Maybe I'll do marksman/commando/partial BH. As long as we can get revenge on jedi/haters! Also I'm pretty excited that stacking is gonna end as well (or at least they tell us that will).
Lock'n load boys!

That brings up a good point, since nothing requires master marksman anymore, will they add anything really cool to it, to make it as useful as master brawler (who knows what master brawler will even have after CU for that matter)? Lets hope so, it would give ranged professions a little more variation besides master elite ranged 1 and master elite ranged 2.
Interesting.

Suppousedly, with the CU, the novice professions will actually be viable so to speak...
That they won't just be a toolbox/stepping stone...but actually a real profession.

Also... I am guessing from that statement as well that professions are not gonna be one night masteries either mate

Any hints as to whether commando will be able to use unarmed in a better way? I noticed one of the new weapons posted a few weeks back was a blast knuckler, and I secretly always felt it was made for commandos. Although, I did not see blast damage listed in todays doc -- weird. Anyway, I am hoping that new pre-reqs for the brawler people will play a role in how the elite profession is (no reason a swordsman cannot use a heavy one-hand sword and so on). I do remember hints that marksman branches will help commando more than they do now, so I assume unarmed will do the same.

I did not see it either, so left me pondering on the RL. Stun and LS were missing as well, so this leaves much to be cleared up. Due to comments above though, I am guessing LS dmg may be gone... and good riddance

Aye it will. Our UA pre-req will be properly representated in commando....
And yes, I already brought this up...but the game itself is losing blast damage. Don't know what our LP nor Rocket Launchers will be (Im betting Kinetic). But as far as our profession goes, we'll be having EVERY damage type in our utility belt, so we're going to be fairly versitile in damage.
Btw, Kinetic and Energy will not be as they are now... (prolly two of the most heavily resisted dmg types in the game atm aside from heat)

Wait a minute. A month ago, they give us a pic of the Blasterfists. Now we learn they got rid of blast?
I hope kinetic is changed dramatically...

This is very nice looking.
1. I'm glad they moved Tiggs to community DirectorI think thats who we need there.
2. I love this document and hope for more information soon.
3. If I'm understanding the gist of the philosophy behind the Cu changes its patterned after a rock paper scissor game play. Where everyone is vulenrable against something. And If I'm reading right that will include Jedi, may those Jedi actually fear a commando's hvy weapon artillery?
4. The healing I'm not sure I will completely understand but it looks like yuo'll be able to heal without medicine. I'm assuming the healing action will draw off the mind and action pool. Thats sounds like a functioning way to keep someone from living forever with using healing abilities.
5. I'm anxious to start seeing some profession oriented docs to see what changes are in store for the actual proffessions. I'm also very eager to hear the forseen roles of the proffessions.
I'm confused on just how the HAM bar progression from 1000 to 3000 will work. Can someone get 3000 from mastering 1 combat proffession? Will depend on total investment in combat? will certain boxes be waited with more hitpoints then others?

No one ever confirmed that Blasterfists would do Blast Damage...makes you kind of rethink who might get what weapons...

I believe that was the compromise. However, unless i missed it, I dont see it in the docs.
