Grats I happened to of gotten a pretty much perfect pair of flame throwers. Our guilds Master Weapons Smith made me a flame thrower with some +47 krayt tissues and got it sliced for me and it came out with a good damage slice on it. Which before I picked it up I happend to of won 6 +56 krayt tissues while killing some of them. So she whipped me up a second flamer, not bad for one night.

So here are what they came out as.

Song of Sorrows by Suz (Flamer: 4.3s 485 - 938)

After slice 3 second delay.

Fiery Passion by Suz (Flamer: 4.5s 485 - 933)

After slice max damange of 1170.

So all in all, one fast one and one hard hitting one.

does the weoponspead effect the specials delay?

I'm not certain it does, and in that case (since the flamethrower is a PoS without the specials) then I'd be working on trying to get max damage - somethign in the 1.5k range

My current FT is 2.8 speed. It was made with 5 krayt tissues (+58/-.6) that were added to a 4.5 second base FT (made by Rykk). I was lucky enough to get a speed slice on it also(sliced by Maniacle).

Now, I looted 5 krayt tissues before the patch that are +48/-1.35 !!!! With a 30% speed slice, the speed would end up around 2.28. What do you think that would be worth? My luck, it will be sliced for damage. Oh well, those are the breaks.

My 2.8 FT has also lasted me around 2 months now, and I use it ALOT. It is around 20% condition now. I am going to cry when it gets destroyed during repair.

Heh well, I have quite a nice collection of 3.0 speed flames as well None are krayts though. I haven't actually even had a krayt flame made yet. Perhaps I should. Base speed was 4.6 speed on the flames. The slices were 35% speed.

I've sliced QUITE a fewflames as I run a slice shop--I think I'm up to around 6 or 7 3.0's

Honestly i dont feel much difference with flamethrower sliced in speed or damage using specials.

I use normal flamethrower 4.6 speed, 25% damage slice with 1040 damage if i recall well.

And till now managed ok, maybe i should try krayt one, but sure i would preffer damage. That or have 2, speed one for range attack and damage one for specials.

I'm a recent millionaire and I still don't wanna drop that kind of coin =P

On Intrepid Server I have Sliced and Unsliced FlameThrowers in the 10k range. Also have sliced and unsliced Launchers, Rocket Launchers, Acids and HPBC.
