If you realy want scout trooper armor go rifleman... mabey the armor can be turned black in the crafting process as an extention of the customization. But either way, I've never seen a commando npc pull a commando weapon... mabey we should change the name of the profession to Heavy Weapon Specialist.

No, this isnt about the npcs in game having scout trooper armor. That is authentic from the EU also. They are called the black scouts because of the trademark black scout armor that hides detection from sensors. They become the most feared unit in the empire because of how stealthy, tactical, and fearsome they are. The rebellion grew to respect the commandos greatly and when they saw a black scout in his trademark armor they knew a real fight was comming. It is the style and attitude and reputation that comes with the black scout armor. Its a trademark of imperial commandos and needs to be upheld.

And for the record, Black Scout armor, should be the Imperial commandos trademark. As a specforce armor for the Rebel Commandos should have been. (If the devs have figured out how to make open face helmets, and actually read Star Wars books)

Saying that we "aint them" is like saying, we dont need stormtrooper armor because we aint stormtroopers, we dont need ubese armor because we're not of the ubese specie, we dont need marine armor, because we aint rebel marines. We don't need the Empire or the Rebellion, because we aint part of it really.

That's not what he was saying. He said that we were not part of the specific unit that was granted the black Scout Trooper armor, he did not say that we weren't allowed to wear that armor for the reasons that you listed.

Example:Storm Squadron pilots don't get torun the same missions as Imperial Inquisition pilots,simply because they aren't members of that specific squadron.

That's not necessarily true, but that's what I'mgetting at, and that's what he was saying earlier.

Palad don't think of yourself as a Storm Commando. Cause honestly no player can be a Stormtrooper. It's always been clear that players are the exceptional, not your everyday fresh from the academy troopers.

You are an Imperial Commando. That means you could look entirely different. Some tough guy officer who runs around with a Rocket Launcher. Storm Commandos aren't Heavy Weapons Troopers. A Commando (Player) is a Heavy Weapons Trooper or some such thing. Maybe you'll be lucky and there will be a color choice for black and you can just pick up rifleman or something.

Imperial Players are like Officers more or less so they can wear the armor they need. As for the Devs incarnation of Assualt Armor I dunno. I think it's ugly. Is it really going to be so that we can only wear bulk armor as Commandos (Not that I don't like bulk armors). So I have to get other professions to wear other types of armor? What if I don't have the right template does that mean no more of my normal ST armor or what?

You can pretend to be whatever you want to in the game. It's called role playing. But that doesn't mean that the developers have to cater to your personal wishes.

The breakdown of it is, they had limited time and resources to make new armor types. They wanted commandos to get assault armor. Several other professions are also getting assault armor.

If they had made assault armor the black commando armor youre complaining we didnt get, but bounty hunters and squad leaders got it, you'd be complaining that since they aren't commandos, they shouldnt have it.

Yeah, since all my posts indicate that I want to have both assult trooper and scout trooper armor...No wait no they dont

And what extra work? you are acting like they have to completely code the armor from scratch. Guess what, that color and type of armor is ALLREADY IN GAME! its as simple as changing a bit of code and replacing assult armor with black scout armor as commando armor.
