Nevermind, I just looked at it. We get assult armor. I guess the idea of following the EU in the slightest and making our armor blackscout trooper armor was out of the question, I dont even think this should be called starwars anymore.
Why would you gripe about that?! Commando gets some really sharp looking assault armor and you are mad that they arent getting a black clone of what Pistoleers and Riflemen are getting?
Is it so far out of reach that commandos in the Imperial Navy/Army would not all wear black scout armor? Is it that hard to buy that they may have heavy armor? In a navy with Millions of personnel, a navy that occupies thousands of systems...you want to say that the armor doesnt follow EU? Please.

Actually it is far out of reach. the black scout armor is the very trademark of the storm commando's. It would be common sense to add that color/armor type to the commando tree to sort of...resemble what storm commandos look like. Assult trooper armor is cool, but it again IS NOT THE INSIGNIA OF STORM COMMANDO'S. But what should I expect from a game that also decided jedi should be the norm and darth vader should be smackable.
A NPC COMMANDO IS NOT A PLAYER COMMANDO...
That being said, If you were a npc commando, you would be much smarter then all the NPC commandos and it wouldnt take long before they promoted you, and gave you some assault armor?
I'm a rebel and personally have never seen the armor im about to be issued in any starwars movie/cartoon but im not complaining cause I can't wear a yellow/red spec-ops duster like my npc equivalent
If you realy want scout trooper armor go rifleman... mabey the armor can be turned black in the crafting process as an extention of the customization. But either way, I've never seen a commando npc pull a commando weapon... mabey we should change the name of the profession to Heavy Weapon Specialist.
Would that please you?

No, this isnt about the npcs in game having scout trooper armor. That is authentic from the EU also. They are called the black scouts because of the trademark black scout armor that hides detection from sensors. They become the most feared unit in the empire because of how stealthy, tactical, and fearsome they are. The rebellion grew to respect the commandos greatly and when they saw a black scout in his trademark armor they knew a real fight was comming. It is the style and attitude and reputation that comes with the black scout armor. Its a trademark of imperial commandos and needs to be upheld.
