Thread: Issues With the Heavy Acid Rifle
it really does need AP3 imo it's the only acid gun in the game without AP and it's called the Heavy acid rifle, my acid carbine has medium AP
i know the feeling about hunting high heat low acid mobs.
my suggestion would be to simply add a poison dot to the acid rifle and combine the tree to the flame tree. from that leave the weapon alone.
then, for the 4th tree in the commando line, give us a heavy machine gun. it would fire metal projectiles at a high rate of speed (high for commando weapons that is) and its specials would be machine gun cone 1-3. make the weapon only useable when compleatly stationary and no fireing before you have stood still, kneeled or laid down for 2 seconds. let the weapon do kinetic damage at around 200-400 damage per attack and a base speed of around4 seconds and give it medium armor piercing.
then we would have 4 major weapons at our disposal that did 4 different damage types (blast, heat, acid, kinetic) as well as some armor piercing, and we wouldn't be unbalanced in PvP as most armor is highly resistant to kinetic damage.
it all boils down....to the burning desire of all of us...

As commandos, we are lucky if we even get the short end of the stick.
The HAR should be better than the LLC. Bounty hunters are only dabblers in heavy weapons. We are the real deal.
I think the flame thrower should have AP1...and the HAR should have AP2.
