Thread: CM Issues being addressed

Is it true they are adding the terrain negotiating to the CM trees?
If so, that will actually make it a combat medic that can keep up with the troops.
+50 last time I heard, its +10 at master and +10 for each support line

Do you think the DEV's should take into consideration that Doctors out number Combat Medics something like 10-1? (not sure about that, but on my server it seems to be about that ratio). With all these Docs around, it seems they should leave the Combat Medic with a slight advantage in this Poision vs Cure issue.
ya i see more docs than CM's...altho of late i know the CM population is going up on tarq..since i dont do a lot of pvp(well none really) i tend to leave MCM title up...and to date i have at least a half dozen up and coming CM's coming to me for training. so dont know how long the number difference will actually be there.
and im ecstatic to hear about the TN bonuses...do they stack with the scout Explore tree? cause that would be a total of +90...and over +50 its a craawling bonus (dont know how much that will help us)
Funny, it always seems to me that I see a TON of CMs all over the place on Eclipse, but Docs are few and far between. Not to mention all the people complaining about CMs because there's never a Doc around to Cure them. The point is kind of moot withouth the actuatl statistics to work from.
That being said, if the assumption is that Docs do outnumber CMs (or even if it were the other way around) I don't think that should really be considered in the equation. The only consideration I would give is that CMs have to pay for that Novice Marksman and RWS line in addition to Mastering Medic, whereas Docs only have to Master Medic. It is only by that consideration that I think CMs should have a slight advantage over the Doc. (Personally I think AoE DoTs are a HUGE advantage over Docs, right now, not a slight one, but that's just me.)

Well, Ded. All I can say is if you are having that bad of stick rates, you need to experiment better on your Ease of Use stat, since that also effect Potency. Get it up around 90 or higher and it will always stick.
I still get resists at 100 potency.

On Wanderhome, I witnessed a Master CM with level C Ranged Poison (not area) with a Potency of 89% throw at a lesser womp rat. She hit the womp rat 6 times the before it stuck.
Then just to prove a point she gave them to me and I through it. It took 5 throws before it finally stuck. These were potency 89%. I cannot believe that there is that much difference between 89% and 90% posions?
Low level mobs (those who are blue and etc) have high level resists.

Interesting. I only bother with about 95 on potency and only ever get resisted once in a blue moon. MAYBE every 20 or so throws if I'm unlucky.
I prob should have elaborated so I wasn't misleading. I still get resists at 100 potency, but rarely. For single target poisons, I believe your assesment is right on. MAYBE 1 resist in 20.
P.S. The 1 in 20 resist is for pvp using 100 potency single target.
I get a lot more resists with aoe. I am not sure if the aoe gets resisted more, or it's just that it hits so many targets that a resist every couple of throws is the same resist rate as single target. It seems to get resisted more overall, but I don't have any kind of objective data.
