besides..who cares if you kill the CM. They have already made you a "next shot and you're dead" target to anyone else on the battlefield.

about a week ago... got bored of rifleman.. PvE didn't use poisons (conceal shot done the job) thought i'd find out what TKA 4404 was like with Master CM... and i'm liking it alot

just so eveyone knows, even Master Combat Medic poisons tick once every ten seconds. not 6 not 8. once every 10 seconds.

Poisons are expensive and some of the resources to make good ones are rare, they should havemuch better damage than something like a flamer which costs nothing to shoot.

Take a group of 30, if the poison ticks once every 10 secs then being a mst doc myself i can do a cure once every 5 seconds(assuming my cure is one dose sometimes its 2/3!)so thats 2 people then i save 100%in a battle for every chuck that hits, realistically its one patient donei.e me...as anyone who has been in a PVP battle knows..1) people run around like nutters.. the old favorite target out of range rubbish appears so my cures dont work.. so in actuality when all 30 peeps are infected they all stop stand still and the 10 doctors outta the 30 LOL cure er themeselves and the other 20 tick to zip and get picked off and we are leftwith er Docs vs CMs ROFL, thatsounds amusing extreme scenario but looking at those stats that would be the case, for Docs.

if poison alone were the issue you would be correct, but poison does not incap alone, you have to have the disease (ticking once every 40 seconds) bring you down to 1 then the combination incaps. so you don't realistically have to cure poisons at a rate of one every 5 seconds but deseases at a rate of one every 20 seconds to keep ahead.


the counter to this of course is the suicide-bomber combat medics (who wreck the profession by way, making ita mindless, dumbed down version of a skilled profession) tossing poisons and diseases as fast as they can untill they get killed, clone, and start the whole process over again. sounds like fun eh? run, lob, die, run, lob, die, run, lob, die... (fools)


what if everyone played thier characters like this? what if TKMs decided to leave all of their valuable items at home, get buffed to the gills, Power Boost, take as much food, drink and spice as thier stomachs could hold, and just burst run into battle and KD/Dizzy EVERYONE they could. NOT finish the fight, the riflemen or other ranged professions could just pick off the grounded targets, but just run in and KD2/Warcry/Dizzy EVERYONE they could get their greedy little hands on. then just clone and start the process over again. sounds like a blast huh?


but i digress. the issue was the 10 second tick on poison vs the 40 second tick on disease. poison alone does not incap

Disease aside, everyone that wasn't cured it still around a one shot kill (assume the first area attack hits mind). Anyone using area shots like fan shot and advanced strafe will be incapping hoards of people at a time under a large group scenario.


Agreed, the clone zerging or suicide CM's are the worst.
